The most I know of would be 9 (one of whom now resides with me) and that would be the now retired Adelle. Note that an answer of 3 or more makes you a CCL (Crazy Cat Lady.)

Be honest here. (Yorkies don't count. Sorry, dear.)

Are you serious? My buddy has a great cat and asks me every week to take her, shes a doll, i love her, i watch her when he leaves town, lots of fun and not a pain in the ass. Hes never home, always at his girlfriends, shes allergic so he wants me to take her,(the cat, not his GF) i really want to, but cant right now, when i move and it will be soon, i could take her but not now. My friend is talking of taking her to the pound, this saddens me, if it comes to this i will force myself to take her. Shes all alone everyday.

Well, I suppose you/we can, but my interest lies in the fact that all the girls I know seem to have cats, and in some cases, many.
