Great video here. He has been smiling, smirking, chatting like he's in a bar with friends, no doubt to give the impression he believes he can convince the jurors he's innocent by acting like he has nothing to be afraid of. But as you listened to the list of verdicts convicting him you can see his face change with the devastation of the results as the charges are read and the verdicts given. I have been hoping this is what he would get. I think he was a punk trying to play everyone, a fool with no remorse who passed up a world of glory and fame to be a murderer. He got what he deserves. Thanks to the jurors who took their time to obviously go over each charge in great detail over many hours for 7 days. Any appeal is going to have a mountain to climb to deal with that kind of thoughtful deliberation.

Even though i had no doubt that he was guilty of murdering Oden Lloyd, i must admit that i'm somewhat shocked about the verdict. I never expected him to be found guilty of first degree murder. Second degree maybe, but first degree?
It's not that i didn't think he was guilty of first degree murder. It's just that i did not believe that the prosecution has proven its case to find him guilty of first degree murder. They still don't have a weapon & no valid motive.
While i'm very happy with the verdict, i'm still very surprised at the outcome of the trial.

I'm also as surprised as Aaron himself that he was found guilty of murder in the 1st. Lol. The jury did an incredibly thorough job. Now he still has the upcoming trial for 2 murders, this trial which does have a murder weapon, tons of evidence and eye witness accounts. Even if he had been found not guilty in this one there's no way he would have avoided the next.

Yes, I am very surprised. For a long time we've been hearing about the absence of the weapon, what happened to it, and some missing critical details. However, under Massachusetts law if the circumstantial evidence eliminates other possibilities to explain events then the obvious conclusion can be taken as solid evidence. I did think he might get off on this charge though. Still, he has more trials to go through and we are told the next ones are more firm against him. I thought he would get convicted in the end, but it's surprising it happened this time.
Impressively sincere and emotional impact statements by the family sealed the sentence if the case hadn't done so already.
Yeah, what an insane tragic choice Hernandez made, especially considering all he had going for him.

Aaron Hernandez will be spending his life in prison at MCI Cedar Junction in Walpole only 1 1/2 miles from Gillette Stadium and Patriots Place where he should be enjoying what might have been a Hall of Fame career. The stadium is on Route 1 in Foxboro maddeningly close to the prison. On some days he will probably be able to here the faint sound of the cheers from his window.

He's actually only transitioning there and will spend his life at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Facility in Shirley, MA.
Although there was lack of a gun, which was probably thrown out by Hernandez's fiancee, there was an abundance of cell phone records, video tape, even at Hernandez's house and other locations, which chronicled Hernandez's every move at the night of the murder.
The most telling statement was from the testimony of Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots. He testified that Hernandez told him that he couldn't wait to time of the murder was made public because he was at a night club.
The burning questions would be, Ah, Aaron, how do you know what the time of the murder was?
I certainly was not surprised at the verdict. The Judge was extremely guarded to what she allowed. Alexander Bradley who was shot and blinded in one eye by Hernandez was not allowed to testify that he was shot by Hernandez. Odin Lloyd and Bradley have one thing in common. Both men dealt marijuana to Hernandez.
Well, I read somewhere someone said that Hernandez had better lawyers than the prosecution. Doesn't look like the defense was better. The evidence was rather strong despite the tampering with the evidence that Hernandez's fiancee most likely did.
Here is Hernandez's sentencing hearing. The forgotten man, Odin Lloyd, was the man who Hernandez murdered. Maybe in time Hernandez will be forgotten. He was a psychopath. He doesn't deserve mention. Odin Lloyd only played semipro football on a high school field. He was a far better man than his murderer, who played in NFL on a super bowl team. The impact statements were quite moving. It is a very sad end of a life. May the murderer rot in person a disheveled weak old man.
