Yep it was an horrible crash....hopefully it appears he had minor injuries..,,un miracle......a race to remember ..... AND GROSJEAN----STROLL and PEREZ will. After GROSJEAN STROLL flipped upside down après un accrochage.....could have been also a tragic one BUT the kid aussi s'en sort miraculeusement indemne.....la guigne s'acharne sur Lance.....and what about PEREZ qui voguait allègrement vers un podium quand au 54ème tour soudainement un bris mécanique l'a forcé à l'abandon...sad very sad....il méritait un meilleur sort.
Pour le reste autre victoire convaincante de LEWIS et un beau podium surprise pour ALBON.
Oui la Formule 1--on l'oublie---demeure un sport extrême ou à chaque instant la vie peut basculer.... un sport unique et fascinant......i like it.

Driver of the Day : Grosjean!!
A nice gesture from the F1 fans who voted for him...
The accident was horrifying. Had he lost consciousness... well, we know how it would have probably ended.
That is how Ricardo Paletti died here in 1982..unconscious, car in flames and 20 minutes gone by before the marshalls were able to extract him from the car wreckage.
To watch this tragedy live on television, only a few months after crying over Gilles's death, still fills me with sadness.
23 years old, second ever Grand Prix, and dying in front of his mother in the stands.
Indeed, such a dangerous sport.
Vive le halo!!!

Next week, Pietro Fittipaldi ( the grandson of Emerson ) will replace Grosjean at the Sakhir Grand Prix.
And next year, Mika Schumacher will drive one of the Haas's..
Racing bloodlines don't lie
Oh yeah.. I almost forgot...

Oups.....HAMILTON positif à la covid......wow.....vraiment dommage pourrait manquer les 2 derniers grands prix alors qu'il connaissait une saison unique---exceptionnelle.......bad bad news.....nous allons le manquer.....cela va rendre la fin de saison quand même excitante .....encore beaucoup d'enjeux en cause......enfin VERSTAPPEN va t-il profiter de la chance inouie qui s'offre à lui.....à suivre le weekend prochain toujours à Bahrain.

Wow...Quelle nouvelle!!!
After reading your post Gaby, I went to check on his status and as of now, he is experiencing mild symptoms but overall, tout va bien.
The candidates to replace him are : Stoffel Vandoorne ( Mercedes's reserve driver ) , George Russell ( Mercedes junior ) or Nico Hulkenberg who brilliantly replaced Perez and Stroll when they were battling COVID-19 as well..
Une saison 2020 pleine de rebondissements..

PEREZ-PEREZ-PEREZ.....what an incredible performance.....he starts à la queue du peleton and won...wow...what a driver....am very happy for him.....et dire qu'il n'a pas encore de volant la saison prochaine.....cela va sûrement se régler bientôt .
Excellent day for RACING POINT...STROLL on the podium also BUT il aurait pu gagner cette course mais encore une fois PEREZ a été plus brillant.
Big credit also to young RUSSELL....he was dominant mais victime d'une confusion rare de son équipe en regard des pneus et une crevaison qui l'ont malheureusement sorti de la course....n' a absolument rien à se reprocher...il a été remarquable....
But at the end of the day a very bad day for MERCEDES....LEWIS va sûrement tout tenter pour être de retour le weekend prochain.....MAIS i would like RUSSELL avoir une autre chance.

Amazing race on the super speedy Sakhir circuit today in Bahrein!!!
Russell shows us that he is the real deal and wins the Driver of the Day with the fans.. i was confident that he would finish in front of Bottas before the race, but a puncture shattered his hopes for the win...
As soon as I saw the chequered flag, I knew that Perez would be in tears... 10 years and 190 races later..the longest wait in F1 history..
Chapeau!!

ABOU GABY ,,,,,LEWIS was back on track...BUT will start third tomorrow......BOTTAS second and oh surprise----grâce à une poussée de dernière seconde---VERSTAPPEN will b first.....
Not a good qualif.for RACING POINT.....STROLL partira 8ème et PEREZ 20ème.....it won't b easy ...they still have a battle pour les points des constructeurs....... we should have a good last one.

Well not the most exciting one....plus une parade....fallait s'y attendre comme c'était la fin de la saison avec des pilotes fatigués qui nous ont donné ---contre toute attente--une saison remarquable.
Congrats to Verstappen qui cette fois n'a pas raté son départ et a mené la parade tout le long.....devant BOTTAS et LEWIS.
Grande déception et seul véritable intérêt de cette course était qui finirait 3ème pour le championnat des constructeurs...RACING POINT a failli à la tâche avec l'abandon de PEREZ et une autre performance très moyenne de STROLL...tout l'honneur bien mérité revient à
McLaren.....congrats.
Bref une belle saison de F1 ...et que dire de HAMILTON....simplement fantastique.....et nous n'oublierons jamais GROSJEAN et le miracle de s'être sorti indemne de cet horrible accident.
Prochain rvous 20-21 MARS en Australie....j'ai déjà hâte......à une saison qui s'annone prometteuse.

Not much to add after one of the most non consequential races in a long time..
Verstappen reminds us that he is Hamilton's biggest threat for 2021..
Alonso, Schumacher( Mick), Mazepin and Tsonuda will be the new faces of F1 next year..
Perez or Albon ?
That is the question pour la saison morte..
