.....Was the decision to restart in the way that they did fair and appropriate?

What is all the drama about? This article suggests Red Bull subjected race officials to duress and undue influence on the restart. Why is a sponsor allowed to even talk to a race official? This sounds like it should not happen:

It looks like Toto "the Nazi' Wolf got a taste of his own cheating medicine! After he, Hamilton and Mercedes cheated their way since Silverstone! Seems like he and Hamilton are big sour losers. Apparently Wolf brought a lawyer with him in filing an official complaint to the stewards! LoL! Lol! Lol!

Like I wrote in Post #93, "F1 has become the biggest spectator sport scam there is....It's a spectator sport that has become totally corrupt and messed up...and that has become much worse than the NHL and Bettman!"

Nobody has answered my question, why are sponsors allowed to talk to race officials during the race? I don't understand why such contacts are forbidden.

They are not supposed to, it's a clear conflict of interest!...But like I said F1 and Liberty Co are corrupt so anything goes...there are no ethics the way the races are handled and managed!

It should be quite obvious by now that Liberty and F1 are trying to dictate the results of the races for marketing purposes to give it the illusion that it's become an entertaining and competitive sport. Down to the wire on one last turn to determine the season championship?...taking points away from a racer so the other can catch up?...allowing one driver to take out another driver's car and run him out of the race causing a 50 point swing in cumulative points?...WTF is this!!!...Sounds too Hollywood for me!!! But that's what you get when Americans are now in charge of a European sport! In my opinion, there is no difference between F1 and WWF wrestling!

Toto Wolf & company fell asleep at the switch, rather than changing their strategy on the last lap they prefered complaining to the race officials - and as a result they got burned and they cried "wolf"...LoL!

As for Hamilton, his Sunday afternoon was a pleasure cruise ride because he simply has the best car in F1 until it got interrupted because of the Lafiti accident and the safety car coming on the track. When they restarted the race he simply choked under pressure despite having the best car...which goes to prove once again that as a pilot he is way way overrated and not worth much in my book!

Was he not struggling on worn tires that had no grip?

Was it his call to be out there at that time with gripless, worn out tires?

I addressed that in my first point..."Toto Wolf & company fell asleep at the switch, rather than changing their strategy on the last lap they prefered complaining to the race officials - and as a result they got burned and they cried "wolf"...LoL!"

i.e.: Mercedes should have changed their strategy by going from hard to soft tires for that one lap. If it was Hamilton's decision not to go to soft tires, then he doesn't know the difference btw hard/medium and soft tires which makes him even more incompetent than I thought!

How can you fall asleep and allow the best car to get lapped because it had worn out tires? Even I know to change my tires when the thread is worn. The rule is if you stick a Penny in the thread and you see all of Lincoln's head change the fucking tire!
