Mexico sent a troop of firefighters in recently, waterbombers from the Yukon arrived a few days ago, looks like many want to assist, kind of puts a smile on my face.

I have some proposal but am unsure if it is realistic. You can propose to the gentlemen with whom you are having meeting to make a donation to the Canadian Red Cross online (Alberta fires appeal) in your presence. This is really easy and takes one minute if a gentlemen have Canadian bank account or otherwise can be done by credit card. You can match half of his donation by extending service time correspondingly. I have already made contribution but gladly will do again with a provider or agency who advertises such a service. Canadian government matches your donation 1:1 and I am sure sex for the good cause will be so much better

I have been back in the area for a few days now, we are allowed back into our house June 2nd. For now anyone entering Ft.Mc need a clearance from employer as to why you need to be there and given breathing masks and fitness test plus a green wrist band. We are being told to boil water and bring two weeks supply of food and medication ( stores are open but they do not want to be sold out soon )
The fire ( areas I have seen ) look like an intense quick ground fire ( ground and one third of the tree is burnt, top two thirds are not burnt ).
From where I am staying now daily drive is about 500 Km to and from work.
