I really don’t see Nick Suzuki being useless in the D- zone, he’s very well rounded and plays with poise. Many hockey analysts are comparing him to a young Patrice Bergeron and I think personally that it’s a legit comparison, he’s getting close to Bergeron’s level.Absolutely but, as @Doc Holliday pointed out, they are pretty useless in their own zone. They need to learn when and who to cover when defending.

I really don’t see Nick Suzuki being useless in the D- zone, he’s very well rounded and plays with poise. For me i’d take Marchand & Pastrnak over Suzuki & Caulfield any time. The biggest problem i have with the habs duo is mostly with Caulfield. His skating is average & he’s allergic to backchecking. He reminds me more of a Brett Hull type who has a big shot & that’s about it. And because of his pint size I’m skeptic about his longevity in this league. Maybe that’s why Hughes is taking his time extending him. Bergevin would have already re-signed him to a $10 million contract. As for Suzuki i like his game more & more. But i still have trouble seeing him as a true #1 centre. No I meant I’m taking Nick n’ Cole in my team before Mitchell and Auston all day.
Bergeron-Pastrnak.If someone can identify a more cost efficient scoring duo in the NHL, name them. Maybe Hughes-Bratt on the Devils?
The 2 habs kids share a huge advantage over the existing top nhl duos: their youth. Suzuki is an amazing multi talented player already, he needs some polishing in his own zone but I'm not worried about his ability to learn quickly. For me i’d take Marchand & Pastrnak over Suzuki & Caulfield any time. Marchand and Pastrnak… Who’s gonna take the faceoffs? For me Bergeron/Marchand might be the best duo in recent history I guess that’s why they formed the perfect storm with Sydney Crosby for Team Canada at the Olympics. For me i’d take Marchand & Pastrnak over Suzuki & Caulfield any time. I’m also cool with either a Bergeron-Pastrnak or Bergeron-Marchand duo but Bergeron’s career is coming to an end so that’s why I initially left him out.Marchand and Pastrnak… Who’s gonna take the faceoffs? Also the short guy that can’t skate, his name is Caufield.
He's played 98 nhl games, enough to have a clear idea of what he's able to do in the league. As for pint size player, well bring me a Martin Saint-Louis anytime, or a Theo Fleury, how about a Henri Richard? Marcel Dionne? Alex Debrincat, well the list can be long.As for the pint-sized American i’m not that big on him mostly because he still hasn’t played that much but mostly because i hate pint-sized hockey players.
98 games isn’t enough. Especially when the majority of those games don’t mean anything. Non-pressure games. Games mostly played within a country club atmosphere under a coach who doesn’t have a care in the world about defensive hockey. He's played 98 nhl games, enough to have a clear idea of what he's able to do in the league. Non-pressure… he was a key contributor in the Stanley Cup run not even 20 months ago.98 games isn’t enough. Especially when the majority of those games don’t mean anything. Non-pressure games. Pint-sized players once had a place in the NHL. Decades ago. As for Debrincat he’s been a big disappointment so far for the Sens, like his former team still one of the worse teams in the NHL…even worse than the Habs. Maybe Debrincat is part of the reason why the teams he plays on are terrible. No wonder Chicago already gave up on him & he’s already on his second team so early into his hockey career. Just like Columbus & their own pint-sized one-dimensional American known as “Johnny Hockey”. Ah, those pint-sized one-dimensional hockey players! lol
What? Most of his goals are scored from 20-25 feet distance, right in the slot, with precision wrist shot or one timer slap-shot. Thats not the definition of garbage goals, those are sniper's goals. Garbage goals are the typical Gallagher style goals. Dude, sorry, but you dont know shit about hockey to make statements like this one.Mostly garbage-time goals, by the way
The Doc is totally biased, he admited not liking small players, so not much credentials to his judgement on Caufield, as we can see.Non-pressure… he was a key contributor in the Stanley Cup run not even 20 months ago.
He already has more valuable playoffs experience than anybody on the Leafs roster.
Poor Leafs players they are trying to break the NHL record for the most playoffs games played without advancing to the 2nd round.

Lol!
PS: The gif is from Sharky!
Go away Dead Leafs!
Ya au moins deux imposteurs sur notre thread des Habs, Doc et ses Dead Leafs et l'autre veteran fan des Rangers! Lol!Ok, ça m'avait complètement échapper mais là, ça explique tout! Lmao!
