Gotta love Montreal
Hi everyone.

I want to share something i've been thinking for quite a while and I want to know your opinion about it. As some of you know, I have a physical handicap and have been seeing SPs regularly for over a year now and that helped me a lot to have a good mood in my everyday life. But here is the thing: I know a lot of other people in my situation dont see any SPs (even if they would like to / need to) because they don't have the budget (its harder to be in the work market with an handicap and on top of that, its more expensive to live) or just because the subject is taboo or because people doesnt really know how great services are here montreal so they are affraid to get into it. I was before, i didnt know anyone in this hobby and had no idea how it worked, but one day i red an article who talked about merb, and than when i red reviews on here i said wow, girls seems a lot nicer and professional than i tought. Than I contacted some agencies and saw how professional and respectful they were. I've had very rarely bad experiences, to my surprise, most of the girls are 100% good with the situation.
With a program from the governement, maybe that would change the perspective of the business and handicap people would take the try.

Some of the SPs i have seen told me they never or very rarely met anyone with an handicap and i think that is sad...
Doing some research, I've seen plenty of programs in europe from the governement. Some countries offer grants, some offers sex professionals for handicap people and others offer training to SPs for those kind of situation. This is encouraging, but there is nothing in north america.

I would like to contact the gouvernement and try to change things... But I don't want to miss my shot so I want to be ready and do the right things to make it work.

Do you think that would be possible here?
How should I approch the gouvernement?

Thanks for your advices.

This would require a long response. I strongly believe that sex aid to the handicapped people, is a valuable resource that can may improve their mental and sometimes physical condition. The price paid may be compensated by some savings in other medical services to them.

I'd sell this project on a strictly medical (mental and physical) platform.

Hence, the level of government to lobby is the provincial one, more specifically, the heath ministries.

Strategically, the most realistic political approach would be to concentrate lobbying in one or two provinces in Canada, choosing thse where the health authorities seem to be more susceptible to accept to go on with a test project.

Being realistic, however, We're talking about a couple of decades of work.

Step one, could be the creation of a charitable organization that could start providing services on a shorter time frame.

On a long run, you'd have to look at some european examples, something you already looked at. On a short run, maybe you could look at this specific organization based in Australia, called Touching Base

Rachel Wotton, the founder of Touching Base, is a great person. She wants her vision to be spread around the world so I am quite certain she will be interested in giving you advices (if she is still there).

Handi. Interesting idea. Maybe it's something the government would do in the right political and social climate. Much more open than the one today. Even without C36 I think this service would be decades away after a lot of dedicated work on it.

On the other hand escorts are very understanding to anyone who is clean, decent, and respectful. If more handicapped people aren't seeing them I think it's because these unfortunate people misunderstand what good escorts are like. These women are usually very understanding and open to pleasing any decent person.

Honnêtement, même moi je ne sais pas si je serais à l'aise d'en parler à TLMP...

Bien sûr, il faut être prêt pour en parler publiquement. Peut-être le seras-tu un moment donné. Tu es jeune encore, je pense. Tu as 25-26?

On sait jamais...

I totally agree with your last point. Most of the SPs ive met (i would say 80-90%) have been very respectful and gave me really great service. But when you don't know anybody in this business, its hard to be aware of that... It was my case and I didn't really want to get into it because i had no idea how good service were and i'm sure it is the case of a lot of other people. Plus you can't know how your caretaker will react when you will tell them you want to see SP.

That being said,, a lot of handicap people have no $ because they cant have a full time job, so thats why government need to do something about it.

I think the chance of a Canadian government program to assist the handicapped in seeing escorts is exactly 0 percent, given that sex directly in exchange for money is theoretically illegal for johns, and is only legal for sex workers because they are victims. It would be quite the riot if the government gave money to handicapped men to allow them to break the law and victimize these innocent ladies.

It was almost too much for him when the Japanese prime minister was forced to apologize to all of the sex workers who took care of the servicemen who happened to be on their way to fight and potentially (and toward the end probably) die in battle. I was more than a little bit amazed that the viewpoint of the soldiers was never considered. And there are certainly no sex workers now in modern day Asia :)

Patron - It was a disgrace for the Japanese to surrender so dieing in battle in a war that they were losing on all fronts was nearly certain. Appologizing for the rape of Nanking or for the treatment of POWs should be a priority. At least the woman got to live (unless they resided in Hiroshima or Nagasaki).

I agree that this could be therepeutic but it is not going to happen. Men - especially able bodied white hetrosexual men - are evil. They just exploit women. Maybe It would be a little less evil and exploitive for a handicapped male to enjoy sex?

I am of the opinion that every massage should end in a happy ending...therapeutic or no. However, at the moment, men enjoying sex with someone other then someone they are subjected to (wife/GF) or another man (the later should be marveled at and even celebrated) is evil.
