When I went to Google Maps then Directions....

From:505 Boulevard de Maisonneuve Est
Montreal, QC

Drive: 1.2 km – about 4 mins

1. Head southwest on Boulevard de Maisonneuve E toward Rue Berri 0.1 km
2. Turn left at Rue St-Denis 0.3 km
3. Turn right at Boulevard René-Lévesque E 0.6 km
4. Make a U-turn at Rue St-Urbain 0.1 km (No need for U-Turn, since you are walking)

To: Hotel Travelodge Montreal Centre
50 Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest
Montreal, QC

How fast do you walk......I would say a 10 minute walk.
How about a Cab, or, the Metro

Good Luck!

thats cool then,, i looked on mapquest too and it said 0.71 miles so i knew it was close,, but i didnt really know how far that is,, all ill have is a cooler with wheels and a backpack so id just assume walk if its that close than wait around for a cab or bus,, then probably get raped on the fare

The Berri bus station is conveniently attached to the Berri-UQAM metro station.

You could take the Metro to Place d'Armes or Places des Arts, and either way, you'd have to do some walking through underground malls.

Or if you have luggage, take a cab, and I'd say it'd cost less than $10.

Without luggage or with just a backpack, I would just walk it on the streets, and it might take 10-20 min.
