That proves what is already more widely known, than not. It is not necessarily uncomfy to sport a bush. Most civy women do/did through the eras. if it was so universally uncomfy there'd never have been said eras. It is a individual thing to be bothered to grow / maintain a bush.
going back to the lady described... she felt it was work to shave, and now that effort was not needed. if it was a bitch for her to have a bush she'd have likely stayed the course despite having retired as described, but no she didnt continue shaving.
