Looks like there is another danger in continuing our hobby.
Ticks. They are small when they are young.
But if they latch on...not good.
See link for instuctions plus how to remove them before they spit into your bloodstream.
What they carry is a very bad disease.
This disease can make you disfunction.
Therefore when you visit the masseuse, or the private booth, or a special services suite,
Be aware of your envirinment.
Be picky.
Choose a clean environment.
"Do they vacuum the massage table . Literally. You need to ask.
The sheets, do they change them after every client?

The mattress is it treated to prevent ticks, or do they vacuum it.
Ticks can carry the disease.
If you catch lyme dsease in Canada, there is no treatment here.
And getting treated in the united states will cost you 5 to 25 k or more.
Be smart. Be careful. If the shower is moldy or if the towels stink, it is a very redflag.
Get out of there.

That's a good heads up for Lyme Disease.. I would be more concerned , as a hobbyist, to Bed Bugs. Those Hitch hikers are becoming a real plague

1Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Tuck your pants into your socks to prevent ticks from getting inside your pants.
2Check your clothes for ticks often. Ticks will climb upwards until they find an area of exposed skin.
3Wear light coloured clothing to make it easier to spot ticks.
4Walk on pathways or trails when possible staying in the middle. Avoid low-lying brush or long grass.
5Apply insect repellent to your skin and clothing, especially at the openings such as ankle, wrist and neck.

I dont see this being applicable with a therapist...etc
