Hotel Recommendation

Hello there ladies and gentlemen,

I am coming to Montreal after a two-year absence. I had been there every summer for about 4 years before that.

I have always stayed at the Hotel de la Montagne. Love the location and ambiance. What I especially liked is the hotel bar downstairs where I once picked up a nice cutie from Morocco. Other times I have seen ladies hanging around. Also, late at night the nightclub is good spot for pick up.

Well, I can stay for free at the Hilton or Marriott due to points. I use escort services for outcall. But, I love the ambiance when women who are available are hanging around a bar and I can at least get a sense of the ladies. Also, in that type of environment my heart beats a little quicker and I do enjoy it.

Now that my history, observations and wants are coverered, my question:

Are the other hotels also frequented by the ladies as the bar at Hotel de la Montagne?

Sorry about the long post just thought I would explain myself so you can understand what it is I am looking for.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If only I knew...
Welcome back to Montreal! I suggest starting by catching-up on all the "hotel" threads here on MERB. That will certainly give you an idea. If you can't find an answer you like in these threads, then you're free to ask but first, please do some effort. There's even some threads currently active about hotels.

galag, I had bumped the "Hotel Bidding" thread not too long ago, which is also in "The Lounge" section. There is a bunch of pretty recent info on hotel recommendations there. As metoo4 said, everyone here is very helpful, but you have to help yourself as well... Take a look at the existing threads, and see if anything meets your criteria.

Thanks for the replies. I think you may have misunderstood my request or since I am not an eloquent writer, my request may not have been clear.

I am not looking for a hotel recommendation per se. I am interested to know if the Marriott, Hilton or other larger hotels have the same atmosphere as Hotel de la Montagne. Basically wondering if ladies of the night frequent bars at those hotels as well.

I can stay for free at Hilton or Marriott, but if the bar scene does not include the ladies then I would rather stay at the Hotel de la Montagne. For me the prospect of being around the ladies at a bar which gets my heart palpitating and would not mind paying for hotel instead of staying for free.

Hope I cleared up what I was trying to ask. I had looked at the hotel threads but did not find the information I wanted.

Thanks

Ahh, CaptRenault, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Hope I have the quote correct.

Anyway, yes, your observations are absolutely correct. I didn't think all women were of good quality either, except for the Moroccan girl.

So, I thank you for your observations and also your advice to stay for free and spend the money on the ladies. I will probably stay at the Marriott as I have read too many bad reviews of the Hilton.

Thanks again, and thanks to you too Daringly for the observations.

Galag, sorry I didn't get your post right.

Noting stops you from staying at the Marriott and visiting HDLM's bar! True, you'd have some traveling to do to get your date back at your room but it should not be a big problem.

I usually stay at the Residence Inn Westmount. It's a bit out of the way from downtown but it's clean, quiet, cheaper than downtown and very SP friendly. It's a 5 minute walk from a subway station (Atwater) and there's onsite, no valet, secure underground parking. No bar there but about 15-20 minutes walk from Crescent street.

Stayed at the Marriott last summer....loved it. Stayed at the Hilton half a dozen times at least....hated it. The Marriott is a very nice hotel. Not too big, but big enough. Very nice lobby & bar.....great gym & very nice pool. Subway station nearby. Foodcourt in adjoining building (Place Canada) with several shops. Decent location...close to Bell Centre & a couple of blocks from the downtown area (Crescent, Ste-Catherine, Peel, etc). I love the St-Hubert Restaurant in the Windsor Station next door, which also has a bar. I'd go back anytime!
