How about a "LIKE" button?

Would you like to see a "like" button on posts so you don't always have to reply?

I would prefer an upvote / downvote system similar to Reddit's.

A common problem on forums, comments sections and social media like Facebook is that irrelevant, obnoxious interventions or plain trolling is depressing participation, allowing a minority of proficient commenters to completely control or hijack conversation. Reddit is far from perfect, but the possibility of downvoting into oblivion irrelevant comments really help to keep a pertinent conversation going among the majority who have something valuable to share.

But considering merb is built with Vbulletin I’m not sure this is a possibility. :/

Merb is using tech from another era, so i don’t know how easy it would be to implement, if possible at all. Beside Reddit, the golden era of forums is long gone.

Maybe the MODS can weigh in and tell us if it’s a possibility or are we just wasting our time?

Come on! I voted yes but it is never going to happen. We are TERB's little brother. If TERB figures out how to do it then MERB has a chance. I don't think it would never be the other way around. I sometimes wonder if they will ever shut down MERB and we will become a Other Cities section over on TERB?
