the fact that SPs work legally and are widely available in Canada?
Although escorts and services are available in the US, because it is not legal with few exceptions it is done in an under the table way. This seems to affect both the quality and the working environment for SPs here, although my experience is limited and perhaps I'm just being naive. Most women I know would speak in very derogatory terms of sex for hire, without knowing anything about it. One gets the sense that they are quite threatened by the notion.
Is there better understanding in Montreal, and Canada as a whole? Do women feel threatened by the availability of SPs?
