How do we find somebody in this community?

there was a way to find somebody form this site by just typing his name. Is it still possible and how?

Autrefois, on pouvait trouver un membre sur ce site. Est-ce encore possible et comment?

Under "Advanced Search", there is an option to search by user name.

As far as I know, what you are asking can't be done by a mere (no, not Mother in French) mortal. You would probably need super powers like the great and powerful OZ (AKA Fred Zed).

This is a community that thrives on anonymity so unless someone is willing to reveal their Merb Handle to you, you aren't going to find out.

The only way is to "backdoor" (if you will excuse the expression) by finding out about a specific post that the person has done and surmising from there if it is possible.

If they don't tell you their handle, they do not want you to know.

Sorry misunderstood. Thought u did not know the person's handle at all and wanted to search by "real name".

Come to think of it I think you only register with an email address but it was while ago so don't recall
