Social dates with social rates are easiest through an Indy. Just tell her what you’d like to do, and she’ll tell you what she expects for the arrangement.
The following regarding agencies, though, is only to my knowledge just from word of mouth — corrections or alternate insight is welcome from anyone.
Through agencies, it can be tricky, especially if you’re seeking adjusted rates. What’s important to realize is that agencies usually keep about 30-35% of the hourly rate when a girl is on schedule — part of it is the booking fee, the other is the incall/driver fee. At most well-known agencies, a girl’s cut is already down to 170-180/h on a 260/h rate. Because of this, I haven’t heard of agencies/girls adjusting their rates for social when on the schedule, unless it’s been a slow day or you’re on the agency’s special treatment list.
Some agencies don’t like the idea of the girl leaving the location of the incall/outcall from both a security and punctuality standpoint. This sort of thing should always be discussed with the agency beforehand to avoid any friction.
It’s far more common to arrange for social rates though an agency to occur during either a girl’s off-day or before/after her scheduled shift.
I’ve also heard of girls and clients making arrangements for social rates to occur off-shift behind an agency’s back, but agencies really, really dislike like this — they’ll fire or ban someone (or both) for even proposing the idea, and sometimes even spread the word to other agencies. Be very careful here - some girls/clients do sometimes report to the agency anytime meeting behind their back is even suggested. Approaching this option is at your own risk.
Lastly, for social dates, you should assume all her expenses (meals, activity costs, transport, etc) unless she insists otherwise. Basically, not a single dollar should exit the girl’s bag. This is basic social time etiquette though, for which I’m sure there’s a thread on somewhere.
