An interesting thing happened when I was listening to her.
I watched the video twice. The first time, I was just looking at her because she was really pretty. The second time, I actually thought about what she said. I felt rather ashame of myself; I couldn't believe when a woman talks about serious issue such as feminism and female empowerment, all I could think of was "nice hair", "cute face" and "what a hot body".
Female empowerment would not even be a problem if women start making as much money as men (on a general scale, not talking about a CEO woman vs a construction man). If most women have enough money so that she has no need for a man to provide for her and protect her, then the woman might not be as "familly-minded". What I meant by "familly-minded" is that woman (generally) are more used to the idea of the monogamy and the idea that "trading sex for money" is dirty. If women don't need men for anything other than sex and company (the mindset of most males), then sex is merely an activaty (much like skating). That way, when the woman is horny, she would just go and have sex with guys... with no scarlette letter attached. In fact, there would be as many male hookers (for girls) as female hookers.
Because the underlying issue of women being unable to support themselves, having sex for money "seemed" degrading. The psychology behind it is that:
Males make enough money doing "regular" jobs, thus they can have "sex for fun" whenever they want. Sex is fun to them.
Females don't make enough money doing "regular" jobs, thus they must use the sexuality (the fact that they are female) to make that money. They "sort of" lose the power in a sexual act. Sex is work to them.
That's why girls are offended by words like slut or whore. You can call guy a slut, he would just chuckle and brag, "Oh yeah... I f**k random girls all the time for no reason at all... I am da shizzle !".
Once the true power balances out between male and females... sex would not even be an issue... as many men would be in the sex trade as women.
*Disclaimer: yes, there is the issue of the female mind being different than men (cause by the difference in horomones), but I think it can be modified by history and education (to some degree). As long as female start making as much money as men (and wait like 1 or 2 generations for it to sink in), girls would start think like guys (or guys would start thinking like girls).
