Sometimes I get just CAPTCHA and some times sent to the imaging menus. I am so sick of proving I am not a robot. I am being told this is not an issue for any locals. Why have the Mods been silent? Is there a virus in the software?

This is a security measure to help protect against attacks. It in no way prevents non-Canadians from accessing the board. Your IP shows as private and cannot be resolved to a certain country. If you don’t like my answer, which I have given you multiple times, go elsewhere. I cannot help you until you get a resolvable IP address. Others experiencing this issue are either out of country, using VPNs or have an IP in a private non resolvable range. Not much more I can tell you.

I don't like your answer because it is obviously not correct. I have been a member of this forum since 2012 and never experienced any problems until this week. And it looks like I am not the only one. Nothing has changed with my setup, the problem is obviously yours.

I have been a member since 2003 and never experienced any problems until this week and I have never lived in Canada during that time. Something changed in the last week.

Yes, this all started at about the same time. I have been a member forever and have not had this problem until now. Incidentally, I don't have an issue with TERB.

I also have been a member for a number of years , since 2011 to be exact. I have accessed merb from the US most of the time since then, with no problems, until now. The "I am not a robot" thing just started happening last week. Why the change?

I don't use VPN and I am still getting this.

Have you caught any bots lately? So far, I don't remember anyone posting "You can make $100,000 without leaving your living room."
I'm curious.

CAPTCHA has started going haywire on me. It now subjects me to a long series of imaging tests (up to 8 in a row) before letting me in. I guess it does not really believe that I am a human and keeps building a case that I am not.

Enjoying the forum while I still can.

Is this happening to enough fuckers? Do we need to be concerned that our mobiles and lap tops are infected with malware or something? I know nothing about this shit?

Today’s was:
Buses
Bicycles
Traffic Lights
Taxi.... there was a yellow Hummer (no, the SUV) and I didn’t see a Taxi Sign or markings.
But there were only 2 Vehicles in the Picture, and the Hummer was yellow.

I beginning to think that this an Test.... as sometimes It’s tough to see the Requested Objects.

Not to give anyone ideas, but I have been wondering why doesn't the CBSA use the same technique at the border. Subject any visiting (or attempting to visit) American to a long series of idiotic imaging tests and see if he/she loses it.

Something is definitely wrong! I just tried signing in and I had to go through an entire series of picking out fire hydrants, stop signs, buses, bicycles, crosswalks, traffic lights and people crossing the street before being allowed in!

Sounds like going to an incall on the Montreal island.
