Yes Maxime...you are right!! All depend of the person and how hard you work to earn that money. For a few $1000 is a fortune and they have to spend it wisely. For others is just nothing...like trowing money to the wind. Now,we are in 2008,we have a global recession and a thousand is not going to give you so much pleasure. Plan well your annual trip.
