I read to-day that the Universe should not exist because matter and anti-matter should have destroyed each other right after the Big Bang.

OK so here is my theory.
The Big Bang created 2 universes ....one filled with matter and the other with anti-matter.
The 2 Universes are identical in every way and would destroy each other if they came together, but they exist in separate dimensions. The only proof we have of this alternate universe is the gravitational pull that is thought to be caused by dark matter.

Cloudsurf this is too complicated. The big bang created some planets on which some human are either men or women. Men are ugly and simple, a bit stupid but that's ok. Women are beautiful and intelligent. But they are wired so strangely no one understand them. The proof is the fact that how you answer her question if you want coffee or tea as you wake up in the morning can influence if you will have sex that night. Fuck ok your right bring on the dark matter

We assume that antimatter behaves as normal matter under gravity. The truth is we have never seen a large enough mass of it to know for certain it behaves the same. When it comes to Negative matter we know nothing and it may not even exist outside of certain theories. Dark matter is on the edge of being a confirmed real entity.

Well cloud, there are a lot of mysteries concerning the origin of the universe and they are all conjectures!!!. Because nobody knows! What the true story is about. Why is there no antimatter, which by the way is produced regularly in cyclotrons and by radioactive material and behaves normally under the influence of gravity!
Another mystery is why does time only go forward? This called the arrow of time, nobody knows! What is mass? Why does mass exist? The discovery of the Higgs boson only made for further questions. Why does the electron look like a point source?
There millions of questions concerning all aspects of physical world and we are still burdened with very few answers.
So good luck to you, we need every bodies insight.

Slight and quite accidental asymmetry in some fundamental forces resulted in the creation of more meter than antimatter…

This was answered by statistical physics more than 100 years ago. Entropy in a closed system can only go up.

What is mass? Why does mass exist? The discovery of the Higgs boson only made for further questions. Why does the electron look like a point source?

An electron is not a point source and does not have a definite volume. It is not localized before you try to measure its position and if you try you will lose information about its energy.

There millions of questions concerning all aspects of physical world and we are still burdened with very few answers.
So good luck to you, we need every bodies insight.

I like when people asking these questions. Most people leave in a social universe and does not know much and don't care about Physical Universe. You are considered poorly educated if you don’t know some facts about the Civil War but if you know nothing how computers and cell phones work, how plane engines work etc. accsepted to be OK

Hi minute, yep those are the classical answers to all the questions I asked, but in the quantum world we live in, are no longer valid.
For example the arrow of time, quantum electrodynamics tells us that many forces are just photons propagating backwards in time. Laws of Entropy does not explain why in the quantum world we never see time go backwards, which from the derived equations is not forbidden.
