If you can (or if you could) do you prefer to stay home or rent a hotel even if you live in the area?
For me, I prefer staying home. I like being in a familiar setting since I am really nervous in an encounter and it's comforting to me being in a familiar place. Although I am worried about certain things. I am not rich and only have a very small apartment. But I still have some computers, big TV, video game consoles and other electronic gadgets I can hide more easily. I really don't think I would get scouted for robbing, but hey, you never know.
Also, while I try to hide any compromising papers, there might be some like phone bills lying around that I forgot about. Although except for my full name and address (they obviously already know that one), there shouldn't be anything to worry about. But I do worry at least a little. But not enough to get away from home and worry about bed bugs and paying for a room I wouldn't really need. As I said, I am not rich
But the one thing I am mostly stressed about is that I live in a house with 2 other apartments and one of them has a couple and their 3 kids. I know the kids won't notice anything, but I am afraid the parents know what's going on by seeing a young lady getting dropped off for an hour. I wouldn't want them to think I am a bad person for subjecting their kids to that, even if the kids have no ideas what's going on. Also, I am not really comfortable with anyone knowing what I do. So I never call during the day, even though that limits my choice a lot. I live at night so that's no biggie, I prefer night meetings anyways, but the choices are less interesting.
So, should I be worried about this stuff? Are you? Any other reasons you don't like meeting at home even if you could? Or are you like me and prefer staying at home?
