What is moderation?

If by moderation you mean being able to hobby within the limits of my budget, while keeping myself realistic about what meeting these girls really means, having a good time and remaning independent of the hobby instead of a slave of it.

I do not live in MTL, that does not mean that I do not hobby, there are other places in the world with beatifull girls you know

I consider myself a regular hobbist and have being for the last 15 years or so, I took the bruces, made the pitfalls and paid the dues, I now see it as what it is, nothing more, nothing less.

To me that is moderation

Yes and no.

If I lived in Montreal, I could see twice as many SPs because I wouldn't have to pay for hotel, airfare, etc.

But because I have all the time in the world, I could spread it out, with days, maybe even a week in between.

I would love nothing more than to move to Montreal.

But from what I've seen in Montreal, it costs substantially more to live in my city, with salaries adjusted accordingly.

So as much as it sucks, I think it would be very difficult for me to find a position in Montreal that pays me something equivalent to what I have now.

Location has nothing to do with the fact that you hobby in morderation or you don't. I live in MTL and I see SP's in moderation 'cause I have a life outside this hobby, with real friends, family and real hobbys...

I don't live in MTL either and to be honest I am jealous of those hobbyists who do, the abundance & quality alone is worth crying over. In my city the available women are often times ordinary to bad and they have the gall to charge almost twice as much as in MTL. Those who charge the same or less tend to be old, ragged or just plain scary enough to run away from. So could I indulge in moderation, well maybe but with great difficulty and enormous restraint

I would most likely spend all my extra cash on the hobby.
I don't know if that is a good or bad thing.
Most of my money know just goes to cable tv, internet access, and weed.
I would much rather have a more healthy and enjoyable hobby

Until then I'm looking forward to seeing an old "friend" again and meeting a new one.

Somehow I don't consider spending time and sharing intimacy with someone a "hobby", but I suppose that's what it's called in the "business".
