Those are public spaces and the owners/managers do not want trouble. They are most of the time safer than a private house. if you deal with known and well reviewed sp or agencies you put the odd on your side. Do your research...

Motel: arrive 10 minutes in advance and check the area. If you see guys going in and out, it might be pimps. Then avoid, just cancel.
