Increasing your PM box size

I understand that if you become a paying member you get a larger capacity PM box. Can someone tell me if this is true and what the expanded capacity is? I am so sick and tired of the PM situation that I am contemplating becoming a supporting member just so I can store more PMs. How do you go about becoming a paying member?

As a supporting member my pm box capacity is 150 messages.

You can't simply use Evernote or something like that?

Isn't it just best to delete the messages ? I can't think of one message that I have ever received that I need to keep, clear them out and you will never have a problem.
