Irritating duo pricing!

Sorry to bring up a common complaint here, but I really don't understanding duo pricing at Montreal agencies. If I wanted to book Gia for two hours, and Taylor for two hours, it would cost me $640 for four hours of fun. If I want to book them together for two hours it will cost me $800!

That pricing arrangement seems to me to be a lose-lose proposition for agency and client alike. I'm happy to pay double the hourly rate for a duo; but I simply can't justify paying an additional $160 for the pleasure of seeing the two girls interact. Seems downright self-defeating to me.

I don't mind duos myself. However, i had it TOO good in the past when i'd be charged only a couple of Robert Bordens for the event. Of course, those were side-deals with a friend who saw me on her own time, who would bring along her lady friend (who then became my friend!) . But what i'm getting at is i haven't had a good duo in nearly a year due to the fact it's more expensive at some places than seeing the girls on individual dates, for more hours.

I've had a number of duos with the best known HDHs in Montreal at exactly the same cost as the mid-range agencies charge. This just doesn't make sense to me.

One of the things I like about TERB and Captain69 is that agency owners participate in the conversation, not defensively but as full active members. I wish there were more of that on MERB, because I'd like to hear an agency owner's rationale for the duo pricing.

I agree with you. Its ridiculous for the girls/agencies to charge extra for their interaction with each other. I don't really care that much if they interact at all. I'm paying them to interact with me. So what if they kiss each other or get into a 69 while I'm having at it with one of them from behind? Is that worth $100-$200? I think not. When I have done this I confirmed the price with the booking agent as 2x the normal fee despite what the website said, and found that the booking agent didn't argue with me. I think in some cases they are just seeing if they can get you to pay it and using the "girls interaction" as a bogus excuse for it.

Think about it. Are they really going to turn down a job because someone doesn't want to pay extortion money? Some money is better than no money! Even if they get a call from someone else at the same time they will still make the same amount of money if it is a regular appt. I would also think that the girls would rather do services together when they can for the comfort factor of having a friend in the room with them rather than being alone with a strange client.

BTW MMax, which HDH's have you had duo's with and what were the rates?

I've brought this up before. I usually go with JDM. During the week and the day, he usually has a nice selection. JDM gives a discount of $20 for 2 girls. I don't understand the rational of the other agencies.

Good points, Bryson. As someone who enjoys duos with some regularity, I don't consider them all that rare, much less "once in a lifetime." I think the Montreal agencies are missing out on the market the Toronto serves extremely well: the visiting businessman who has a good deal of discretionary cash and a high sex drive. As I said before, that seems to be a lose-lose-lose proposition for the agency, the girls, and the client.

It is incredibly short-sighted of the agencies to do this . If you can get $400 from John A instead of $200 aren't you ahead of the game ? Why scare him off asking for something materially extra?

I've never paid any more than the single rate to each girl. Mind I've only done this 3 times .....all we indies.

I think the agencies think they can get away with the extra charge. If guys refuse and go with agencies that don't charge extra, then the others will follow. I won't pay extra for 2 girls. And I know there are some agencies that will not charge extra for 2. I just use them when I get the urge for 2.

I just noticed that IN, surely one of the best HDH agencies, now charges just $900 for a two-hour duo and $1200 for a three-hour duo. Clearly few hobbyists can afford such lengthy 3somes, but at least it demonstrates that smart agencies price their duos on a REDUCING price scale, not an INCREASING one as so many mid-range agencies do.

I agree with you. You`re already seing price cuts and all kind of promotional rebates from Montreal agencies to try to keep their girls busy (see the recent ad from Freedom Passion on rates and the various CF initiatives (like 1.5 hours for 200$, girl of the week, etc.).

High end agencies like IN and the companions are clearly concentrating their market effort ``penetration`` in Toronto and the US. Exchanging with Gisèle from FKS recently, she mentioned that almost 100% of their clients are on the US and Toronto markets.

High offer and limited demand do have a downward pressure on prices.
