Hi,

Do you think is it okay to ask escorts for a short video call to prove they are who they say they are ?. I would ask them before doing an e-transfer. Strangely most of the time they never answer back. One girl aswered back asking me to send her the picture she sent me. The scammer did not even remember which girl it was.

I am even willing to pay for a video chat or a short phone call.

i dont think that is unreasonable if they are asking for a deposit...be wary there are some scammers out there...dont have to pay for a short call in that context.

But not standard practice. You can avoid all this trouble if going through established mps or agencies. toftt with indies is frought with risks, but yes the rewards can be great...

There is a reason I don't show my face online. Why would I do a video call and risk having it shared or video/photos of my face end up online associated with 'Anna Bijou'?

It makes no sense to ask. So many people ask for a selfie of my face and I don't get it. If I wanted my face out there, I'd be face out on my pictures and advertising?!

If someone doesn't mind doing a video call, chances are you'll have to pay for that first.

As for the phone call, I will usually accommodate a short call because we never used to book without it for the same reason. We used to require a call before we gave any location info. I can handle that. (But many providers won't do phone calls.)

But don't expect a 10min conversation and certainly don't expect anything explicit. We have to watch out for time wasters and that's the #1 redflag. Don't ask what she's going to wear or what she's going to do to you blah blah over that phone call because she's probably going to cut you off, end the call and not see you.

You won't get any answer from indy's and you will be tag as a time waster or photos/videos collector. Try to call a few agency to see if they will complied with your demand. My guess is that they won't keep you on the phone for a very long time...

Anyone who has a minimal of common sense won't complied to your demand because of privacy issue's. Even if you tell them that you are actually a good guy who won't use an app to record the video call...
