One of Joe Biden's key advisers accidentally picked up the wrong luggage twice while traveling on government business.

I don't know, but I have heard that this behavior is common for millennial, nonbinary people, so maybe it's not such a big deal. It was probably an innocent mistake.

I have trouble with that LGBTQ2+.
When I was young, we knew there were hétérosexuels, gay and lesbiennes.
In a few years they will have to use the 26 alphabet letters plus numers 1 to 10 etc.

Many Merbites enjoy spicing up their encounters with escorts by engaging in raunchy activities. Take a look at this video of Joe Biden's famous artist son, Hunter, while he films himself waving a gun around during a crack-addled encounter with an escort. Now that's what I call a fun time!

Best part of this story is that he didn't have any checked luggage. Lol.

A major land war is going on in Europe, urban (;)) crime is out of control, inflation has been at 8% for over a year, the southern border is under the control of Mexican gangs while millions of third world foreigners flood into the country, fentanyl is pouring into the country and poisoning hundreds of thousands of young Americans and woke, leftist ideology dominates universities, the corporate world, entertainment and the media.

Meanwhile the president, suffering from advanced dementia, invites a man dressed up as a woman to give a "drag queen" performance at the white house.

Well, at least we're better off than Canada. :D

Karine Jean-Pierre, Biden's intersectional, woke black lesbian and very noble press-secretary with a French name (does she even speak French?) announced this week that Joe met with three winners of the "Noble Prize." I have never heard of the "Noble Prize" but it sounds like the U.S. is cleaning up in the competition. Go USA! Win another Noble, whatever the hell it is. :D

The cartoon makes an excellent point because Joe has certainly not fucked over 300 million Americans like the previous office holder did.
Correct. Sleepy Joe has fucked over more than 335 Million Americans.

It's fine that Garland is moving on this, as he should, but it's peculiar that he's acting quickly here when he seems to have sat on his hands for over two years on another question concerning integrity (or lack thereof) at the highest levels of American politics.

Maybe Merrick, a Democrat, is going out of his way to be more forceful in investigating possible misdeeds in his own party in order to appear unbiased. If so, he's making a mistake, as ALL cases of possible high-level wrongdoing, regardless of which party or individual is suspected, should be investigated ASAP.

It would be both ironic and unjust if Joe got shellacked and Donnie walked. A major problem for the Dems is that they try too hard to act with honor. That should be a good thing, and Michelle Obama famously said, "When they go low, we go high". In a perfect world that played by Marquis of Queensbury rules that would be an excellent philosophy, but in the filthy and disgusting world of American politics (or even Canadian, now that PP has become the ringmaster of one circus) it's asking to get your ass kicked. There's a time to play by the rules but there's also a time when you have to fight fire with fire if the other side is walking around with matches and gasoline.

Garland did the right thing by appointing a special counsel.

Inasmuch as the circumstances around Biden's and Trump's cases are totally different, these developments are unjustifiable. I'm very receptive to the argument that Biden, having been in government for forever, should know better. It's also fair to ask why it took January to find out events that happened since November.

The entire case brings up the point of maybe we're classifying too many documents if the National Archives didn't even know classified material was missing until it was self reported. Or who is physically putting away these documents (Neither question wasn't critical in Trump's case). But those are discussion for another day.

Around the corner
Can’t blame Bidet at all.
How can you expect a guy who can’t remember his name to be able to know what he did with any document.
He has the best excuse around, completely senile and incompetent, has no clue about anything, half the time he doesn’t know which end of the stage to get on or off when he has to mumble through a speech.

Actually, no. It is a discussion for today and how fucking stupid this all is in both the Trump and Biden situations.

There are two great truths at hand. Politics is show business for ugly people. And the world has too many law and too many lawyers. And the government is way too big. Whoops that was three.

Documents are marked classified to make people feel important.

The outcome of all these investigations will be the government paying $1,000 an hour to countless D.C. lawyers for endless billable hours.

The government will simply exercise its endless borrowing ability to pay those attorney fees.
The impulse to say the US government is classifying too much isn't new. So, in a way we're in agreement there. But with that said, I KNOW that you're smarter than to claim documents are classified just to make people feel important. Classified material is marked with different levels of sensitivity. Your argument would hold more water if every single thing was designated as "Top Secret" and that is far from the case.

While I'm not obviously privy to the classified stuff, I can tell you that saying classified material exists just to make people feel special is a failure of the imagination.

Revelation of classified info can compromise spies and get them killed. To that point, Robert Hanssen's leaking of classified info as an insider (he was an FBI agent) got KGB spies that were working for the US killed. Tactics can also be also be compromised, like when the same Robert Hanssen alerted the Soviets of an eavesdropping tunnel under the Soviet embassy. (I know it's probably safe to assume you're being monitored in a embassy, but getting confirmation of it is a whole different matter). Once again, I agree with you that the US government doesn't question enough whether information X needs to be classified, but to claim all classification is strictly a service to elitism is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Naturally, not all classified info of any level will be useful but you can bet a lot of info is valuable--which is why every now and then we hear of an Aldrich Ames or Richard Hanssen who are selling classified info from the inside.

Albeit for entirely different reasons, I also agree with you that both Biden and Trump cases are pretty stupid and unnecessary. I'm going to roast Biden a bit more here because these documents were not returned by 2016 (depending on the documents' date, there's a potential eight year window on when they were pulled). What happened in 2016? Hillary got roasted that year over a private server and potential handling of classified info on that server. Despite Biden likely not packing the boxes himself, all precautions should have been taken to ensure accusations of mishandling of classified items didn't repeat itself because a prominent member of your party just dealt with that very issue.

So when it happens to Biden we are classifying too many docs and it’s a discussion for another day. Interesting, and not biased at all.
