The moderation has repeatedly asked members of different political stripes to discuss their differences with respect and in accordance with the Forum Rules.
In light of recent events, your collaboration in achieving this is needed and essential.
If you believe that some members are breaking the Rules, use the Report tool or send a private message to the moderation, and the matter will be looked into.
If it is not possible for you to engage in political discussions without goading, or trolling other members, do not engage with these members - or simply stay away from the political discussions. Period.
Anybody taking advantage of current events to start shit-stirring of any kind should expect to be suspended until the end of the electoral cycle in the United States.

I am waiting for President Biden to say there was an assassination attempt on Vice President Trump any minute now.

Perhaps his wife Jill had a change of heart and realized what was best for her husband at this point in his life. What was happening to him in my opinion was elder abuse perpetrated upon him by the establishment, because they could not fathom the alternative, Trump.
This charade is now ending, and if Trump stays alive long enough, the mess will be his to clean up. I would expect a change in policy at the domestic and international levels on numerous fronts and a new era in American politics.
I hope Biden will get the rest he needs, I wish him well.
Biden is 81, slowing down, showing his age, had a disastrous debate performance and that led to a growing sense he could not win an election Dems cannot afford to lose. It's as simple as that. Time to move on.
