MONTREAL -- A juvenile prostitution ring has been dismantled by Montreal police.

The ring which involved girls between the ages of 12 and 17 was allegedly run out the Sextazy escort service.

The investigation began on June 9 but was kept secret so as not to harm the young victims that complained to police.

Six managers at the escort agency were arrested. Three are still being held by police.

The young girls, runaways for the most part, were often forced to prostitute themselves after being sexually assaulted.

No clients of the agency have been arrested so far.

Well well well, let the comedy begin!

Another juvenile prostitution ring without any clients. It’s funny because I consider myself a decent businessman but for the life of me I can’t figure out how you can turn a profit without any customers.

In Quebec City we know very well how the police and government will handle this. In our joke of an inquiry two years ago everything came to a screeching halt as soon as the cops started interviewing the girls and the names of politicians, judges, and entertainers started surfacing.

Don’t forget we’re talking about minors forced into the trade not adults doing it by choice.

As far as I’m concerned the priority for the police should be the clients who create the demand.

May I suggest to remove the threads about the concernign agency from this board. Even though nothing much is mentionned.

I sincerly hope the gentlemen that had been involved in seeing these girls did not know how young they were.

12 year old girls. That is very wrong.

I can see how these days some 16 or 17 may look older, but how in the world does a 12 years old looks years older. People who saw a girl this young must knew what they were doing.

I ask that exact question too. The jewish have a proverb. "When the shmuck is full, the blood does not flow to the mind."

Plain and simple these clients are paedophiles and children are exactly what they’re looking for. There is no way anyone could mistake a 12 y/o for anything but a child.

History has proven that therapy will not cure a paedophile that’s why I think these criminals (the clients) should be behind bars for a long time.

The clients were not arrested, from what I read. Only the agency operators were.

That's my point, it's all a big joke until the Police do something to reduce the demand.

And from what I just seen on tv, there won't be any clients arrested. Saying there are no proofs...

Beware! This may happen to any non-pedophile hobbyist.

Here is the full story from CBC.ca

Have you seen the girls on their website? Some of them look young, but not 12 at all. SOmeone 18 might look like 16, but not 12 (as petite as they are)

But I agree, they should have busted the customers.

I agree some 16YO teenagers look really nice & pretty, might even look older, but 12?

That's just sick...

Maxima>> Because they want to see for themselves what these girls look like who were being passed off as adults. At least that was why I went to the site.

To me the real questions behind juvenile prostitution are why were these girls not at home and going to school? Why the school never noticed them missing? What is the problem in their home life that prodtitution is something that they even considered in the first place? I believe that if more money was put in to social services for youth then less girls would be throwing their childhood away.

As an SP who started working at 36, it is easier for me to get out when I will want to. A girl who starts without even finishing high school, much less college and has never worked at any other job will find it much more difficult to re-intergrate into the general population when she is ready and wants out.

just my two cents worth...

Naughtylady,

A lot of these girls are runaways. I can recall some years ago, I was out in California where there is a terrible problem with runaways. I personally observed some girls who looked about 13 years old, streetwalking. One of them came up to me, and asked me if I had any money for a coffee and she was looking to start a conversation. Very cute girl, about 13 years old or so, told her I could not spare any change and kept walking on my way.

There is also a severe problem with runaways hanging around in homeless gangs in Denver, Colorado.

The news report that I heard said most girls were runaways who got seduced, given gifts and affection until their guard was down.

Has the site been taken down yet?

as far as the clients are concerned...

had the cops have waited a little longer....(to bust the organization) they might have had arrested '' GUY CLOUTIER '' ..... again!

I can't think of any right-minded person not rejoicing at the shutting down of this group. Kudos to the cops for spending their time on this rather than on legit agencies.

The publicity that this attracts will be a negative for the rest of the industry though. The general public will just be more inclined to assume that the sex trade is all underage sex slaves being pimped by organized crime to service middleaged freaks.
I couldn't agree with you more. As for others calling these pricks 'agency managers', i disagree. These assholes were pimps and worse. Calling them agency owners is pushing it. They were very likely members of some street gang. This thread has made me curious at how the members here would react if we'd see a young teenage girl (and very provocatively dressed, etc) walk into a hotel, obviously for a call. Would we ignore the whole thing? We'd we want to confirm our suspicions (talk to her or follow her to her destination) before we decide to call someone? I'm curious, so i decided to poll the members.
