I haven't circled back to read the whole Grassley report yet, but this should be a serious discussion about what went down. Sadly, Trump immediately went to the whole misleading "She retracted it all! It was all made up" line about the Jane Doe letter. Between sucking all the air out of the room by focusing on immigration and the caravan and lying about the findings he did talk about, he cut off any option for the news to take this seriously and discuss what was actually found or not found.
If I was Grassley, I'd be pissed, since presumably he thought this was important. I guess you could be cynical and decide that by cutting this off at the knees, the GOP gets to pretend it was a conspiracy to not report it, and to give Trump credit he is good at running the media. But this was probably a more important story that the bullshit Caravan, and Trump stepped all over Grassley's dick to prevent it being reported and that's on him,
