Sad news, Kiki's apartment was burned out last night, most of her possessions were severely damaged by smoke and the fire itself. She lost pretty much everything.

She, and the rest of the tenants were happily uninjured physically, but she is very very down at the moment.

I'd invite her over but 250$/h is a bit too much.Apart from the shock of loosing wordly possesions I'm sure her bank account will not be affected.

i am as shocked to read this nasty response to a report that one of our board people lost everything in an apartment fire, as you are.

on second glance, i am trying to convince myself the man was being dry and sarcastic.

I can understand that you like her but there's something that I don't understand...................would you call your doctor,lawyer,etc....?

I guess some of you consider as a friend someone you exchange $$$ for companionship but to me friendship cannot be bought!

p.s. By the way,I didn't think I had to take literally... calling and sp to offer best wishes.I don't delight in other people's pains...whoever they are but in my mind I'll think "this is sad" but will never interfer in other people's private life.I'm sure she has gher own friend.Customers are not friends.

What review? I deleted my post(which isn't a review) but You kept it so it's still there.I never said anything bad about her.From I'll I've heard she's great.
Maybe I chose the wrong words and shouldn't have written anything at all but know it's too late.I just had a fast reaction.It had nothing to do personally with kiki.I admit it was stupid but stupid I am.I'm not an asshole as you seem to think.I often say things without really realizing the implications of what I say.

Kiki is a wonderful girl & one of the most sincere & sweet persons i've ever met. It sadens me that her apartment was damaged by fire & many of her personal belongings were lost or destroyed, but fortunately, Kiki is safe. I haven't been back to Mtl in what seems like ages, but i saw her the last time i was in town & a 'date' with Kiki always makes my trip a better one.

I wish her all the best & hope she doesn't forget her promise to me.

Hey everybody, just wanted to say thanks on behalf of my friend Kiki who really was overwhelmed by the outpouring of concern and offers of support from the members of this discussion board. It was very decent of you all to think of her during this horrible time, she has rebounded, found a new place, and is doing a whole lot better than when this all happened, in part due to you all. So thanks.

For my part, I happen to be traveling and spotted a nice store down the hill, so I picked up something pretty, pink and Prada* for my sad girl. I couldn't tell exactly ;-) but she seemed to like the camera phone pic I sent!
