I had a meeting downtown tonight, and had to catch a cab up Berri. It was about 5:50 and I had to be at St. Denys and Maisonneuve at 6pm.

Traffic sucked, so I hopped out of the cab south of Rene Levesque and started walking north. Coming at me was this gorgeous woman, with a hint of familiarity. At once I realized, it was her -- I said "Hi" and she slowed, so I said "I think your very brave". She stopped and said thank you.

I then said that I thought it was terrible what happened and I gave her $20.00, she thanked me and gave me her # and said call anytime.

I think she is a class act, and a knockout regardless of her health status.

Thanks Mot, since I don't follow it. Very scary, if true. Wouldn't this fall under the heading of one of those Law & Order: SVU catchphrases, like "reckless endangerment" or "depraved indifference?" In any case, there's no way LE could look the other way.

I am sure there are many streetwalkers out there that have various communicable diseases... some of the HIV positive. Lara Roxx wouldn't be different from them, except that her infection is public knowledge.

The question would come if and when she has unprotected sex with someone, who then gets sick. Assault with a deadly weapon?

From Oliver's post I gathered that someone else is in communication with him on the subject. I just gave her money to help her out, and that was that. I wouldn't get a BJ from her, nor would I ask for one.

A question for you Canadians. Since you have universal health care, or health care paid by the state and the taxes it collects, I am assuming that Lara Roxx will be able to get the drugs that are required to prolong her life? Are there any restrictions or drugs that she would be required to pay for?

I do think the porn industry is out of control. I am not interested in seeing 2 guys put their sex organs in a woman's rear end. It's all very disguisting.

You guys assume alot of things...such as

why would you think she WOULDN'T turn to a lucrative trade she knows well, has experience with, etc. in order to make some quick, much needed cash? I don't think she's likely to be handing in job applications to The Gap or Nickles for $8/hr any time soon. And I sure can't see her, still dazed and confused by all that's happened to her this last month, mustering up the fortitude and form to hand out fliers and preach about safe sex to johns and street walkers at this early stage.

yes we do have the health care, but no the drugs are still paid for out of our pocket though most are partially sudsidised in Quebec through a drug perscription plan. From what I understand, drugs to fight HIV and AIDS are very expensive.

I do tend to be overly optimistic, and give people the benefit of the doubt. I guess it a backlash to the people arround me during my growing up years. I also like to defend the underdog.

It is just that this post is based on a sighting of her in an area, nothing more. So we do not know for certain that she is working the streets. I do know for certain that she is running (not only working on) a live sex-chat web site though, similar to the one I used to work for before I got into the escort business, and that even on this site she is open about her HIV positive status. That is why I wouldn't think that she is working the streets as well.
