Late night restaurants in Montreal

I am looking out the window directly at the Hyatt from my place as we speak so i guess it's worth it lol...

Call them up and order shrimp with lobster sauce (hold the lettuce leaves), pork fried rice, spring rolls and Hot and Sour soup to go. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Five Guys new location in front of Eaton Centre next to Super Sex is open late

Zestos is also open late, with delivery til 4;30am and now operates out of Nickels in front of the Eaton Centre and offers wonderful smoked meat from them now as well as other things.

Zestos. at their old location, was serving some of the worst food I have ever had in Montreal. Back in those days (2005) they were on University Avenue near St. Catherine, and had no late night competition. So maybe now they have been forced to pick it up a notch. It's still not a place I would consider for late night food with other options like Beijing and even Kojax.

Zestos is also open late, with delivery til 4;30am.

Fortunately, the ER at Montreal General is also open 24 hours to deal with Zestos' casualties.

Zestos Smoked meat rueben is great, and their chicken caeser salad is the best i have ever had, have not had much else from their menu however.

Boustan is great for a late nite meal as well if you like lebanese food.

Back in July 2005 a large group of hobbyists, including myself, went there after the GT at Hotel de la Montagne. I ordered a meatball grinder and it was totally and absolutely vile and disgusting. That was over 7 years ago, so maybe new management took over. At that time they were the only place that was open at 3:30 a.m. or so, that we could think of.

'Five Guys' makes one of the best hamburgers i've ever eaten. There are now 3 different 'Five Guys' locations on Mtl island.

'Cheeburger-Cheeburger' is now closed. I went there several times last summer. However, the fact they charged extra for each condiment added to the burger turned off a lot of people, where 'Five Guys' doesn't charge extra for condiments.

I also went to "Buns" once this past summer (the one closer to the Hyatt), and was extremely disappointed. Nothing to write home about.

I did not find anything special about a "Five Guys" burger, it's just a burger cooked from fresh.

I do not like their fries cooked in peanut oil....
