I want to underline a few things I have read through the comments in this thread. :)

1- Someone without medical training and without enough details diagnosed this woman with bipolar disorder. It's a possibility, but other factors could be involved : a different mental illness, substance use, domestic violence, severe childhood trauma etc.

2- Many people here have expressed their excitement about having sex with women who suffer from mental illness, therefore are probably dealing with a lot of internal pain.

3- To nuance statement 2, I will say that some have noticed that women who suffer internally are better at sex. Have you ever wondered why a woman who has trauma and mental illness may be more skilled or "better trained at pleasing men" than others?

4- The mental health of men who's hobby is to hire mentally ill women and pay them for sex might be something that needs to be questioned, but I would never pressure anybody to do any kind of introspection;)

5- Talking about the health of specific providers is dangerous because it might attract predators who want to take advantage of her, or actually make the situation worse. Do we need to draw attention to a person who had this type of breakdown?

6- An observation that I made over the course of 2 years is that on this forum, people observe a clear correlation between poor mental health and this industry. I was wondering if anybody asked themselves questions about this. But I am fully aware that many of the answers could potentially be uncomfortable.

7- Ah - I almost forgot. Somebody made a very strange connection between this provider's race and her behavior.

I've known several bipolar people and never seen them behave like that; they're usually super hyper and impulsive on their upswing phase (excess partying, going on wild spending sprees, starting 4 or 5 different new projects at the same time that they will soon abandon, thinking they're the second coming of Jesus, etc). Then on their low period they get into a chronic depression, don't wanna see anyone, and have dark thoughts....and then they suddenly get super revved up again and the cycle continues.

Borderline personality disorder might apply here though, but just speculating

I'm not a doctor but what I can tell you is that mental illnesses can manifest themselves very differently in people.

It's also none of our business what anybody's mental health diagnosis are.

Spreading stigma about certain disorders can be extremely harmful too, particularly in this industry since we are already in a marginalized line of work that puts our safety at risk.

I agree we should not comment on her health or sickness as we have no info on her situation but mainly we are not professionals ...

Agree also on the fact we are spreading stigma and false information by giving educated guess or not ...

PMDD also touches on mental health - I saw it mentioned in one comment. It's a random, easy (and lazy) hypothesis when there are several dozen other possible causes for this behavior.

I highly suspect I have PMDD myself and it doesn't make me paranoid, it does however make me suicidal a few times a year. It is no joke, but it's far from being the only (or even the most probable) cause for what happened with this provider in this specific case...

I don't understand why anyone is trying to diagnose her anyway

I've only been blindsided by a regular provider in mental distress once but it fortunately didn't turn out as aggressive as this. I had paid at the start but I could tell within a few minutes that she was struggling with something, holding back tears and visibly stressed, so we took it super slow and after about 10 min I realized this wasn't going to end in any meaningful companionship for either of us so I told her respectfully to take some time for herself and keep the money. She didn't want to bail and get paid so I told her to put it towards a future session. Turns out it was a family situation that had blown up crazy and after a few days she reached out to rebook and said she was feeling much better.

I don't think I'd received what I'd call Appreciation Sex like that for years and it was perhaps the hottest session I'd ever had. It wasn't the point but suffice it to say she really appreciated me giving her the space she needed in the moment.

My ex girlfriend is ADHD autist, Its hard for me to write this because at 54 i fell in love again. She had no libido but just the fact she was showering me with affection and more was more than enough for me. We work together sometimes, I work days and nights she is night time.

I still love her, mental disease is not a joke. She is a cancer survivor she had the whole uterus removed, cancer came back 3 times, she is a survivor. At 18 her father wrote her a check and sent her on her way due to is new girlfriend hating her. My ex needs a lot of affection.

ADHD as an hyperfocus part, were you become her focus the center of her universe, the i love you, the texting, the hey what you want to eat tonight etc, the cuddles. But the ADHD brain is wired differently when the hyperfocus is gone the women you fell in love with too. Now it becomes a you are almost a ghost, talking with her sister for 1h on the phone not even mentioning you. Arguing for nothing, we should see each other less often so I an miss you and its not because i cuddle you that i want sex i am good 2-3 times per year.

We broke up and decided to take a break, for my b day she got me a present nice, and took me out for supper, then she said you see him a getting better, i did not get mad because you places 3 times, i wanted to go at mikes then Mexican then the original pizza place. Then i told her who cares if it was your b day you could have change places 100 times it would not have mattered.

She ignored me and did not text me for 48h, so i guess she wanted me out of her life. I stop talking to her, because I tried but cannot live with her condition. She is also obese, and we were suppose to lose weight together, but each time i would show up at her place to go hiking or do something she would be on her phone and gave me a fit for not being able to relax. I have since got into serious cardio and lost 50 pounds, while she lost nothing.

Mental illness is not a joke and i know that a lot of the way she acts is due to that illness, but for my sanity I decided to call it quits even if i still feel for her. She has 3 dogs that i have grown to love, 2 German Sheppard and one white husky.

She got a flat tire last month i bough her the CAA pass, her car is old, I wanted to take care of her so much, but i guess it will never happen. We broke up and all she had to say is sorry.
