This highlights the YMMV aspect of the hobby. Guys reading reviews have the expectation that because one guy got a BBBJTCIM or kissing, he will get it too. Maybe though he has bad breath and the SP who kissed one guy with good breath will not kiss the guy with bad breath. It is totally understandable that this is a negative pressure and the girls do not like it. It makes them feel like robots and every guy should get the exact same service. That's just not the way it works. I believe most girls are YMMV and sometimes are not comfortable with a client and he gets the short end of the stick on service for whatever reason: poor chemistry, he is ugly or has poor hygiene, or maybe is just scary looking or behaves strangely. In those situations it should be tough shooshkums but if the guy then writes a bad review it puts pressure on the SP to treat all clients equally. But the truth is all clients should not and are not treated equally simply because some are more acceptable, desirable and/or generous than others. The girls are human, they are not robots.

I know exactly what you are talking about. That's why I stopped giving any bad reviews on any girls now. If I give a review, I write here only the positive things that happened in that encounter.
If you give a bad/honest review here, there is Twitter where you might get lot of backslash from SPs. You might also get lot of backslash from other merb members who might disagree with you.
In a way I understand, the agency/independent/parlor wants those clients who are always happy with the service they are receiving. If a client is complaining or giving bad reviews they would not like that client much and if business is not that bad,they might want to avoid them .
With this “Forum” you need the Good and the Bad.
What I don’t get, is when a “Review” is given, and seems like an Attack on the SP, and another Person chimes in, to give their Opinion, the Opinion gets deleted.
We all have needs/wants....

Not sure why Questions wouldn’t be asked during the Encounter...

I would trust a bad review if say once the bad review shows up and many other bad reviews follow especially they are from reputable reviewers you know the bad reviews are some what legit. Also adding to the validity of the bad review(s) if the SP immediately goes on NRP. If the SP has pages of glowing reviews and there are some bad reviews then more than likely due to some YMMV/hygiene thing. If the reviewer is new and all he does is trash his experiences then he is just straight up butt ugly inside and out and nothing will ever save this poor soul even paying for it. This will not get him any closer to the orgasmic Promise Land that the Montreal hobby scene will easily lead to. This is called losing the Genetics Lottery. LOL.

Yes, you seem to recognize there is in fact a big issue called YMMV in this sex industry which BTW, in my opinion does not exist at this level in any other industry. And, many people here/Indys/Agency/Parlor will tell you that you have to accept this type of YMMV encounters.
But, if you think little bit from clients perspective-
- Many clients can only see SP once a month after saving a lot. So, their expectation usually would be very high after reading these glorious reviews and would be very disappointed if the encounter they dreamed about for last one month did not went as great as other reviewers.
- And, then, there are many clients who have very high pride in themselves and it is very hard for them to accept that a girl rejected certain services to him or did not provide similar service as other reviewers claimed here.
Yes, I do recognize your point that it would put pressure on SP to treat all clients equally. But, without any pressure how do you ensure quality control and this is true for any other industry?
Why the Indys/Agency/Parlor do not take any steps to fix the YMMV thing?
After meeting a client, if the girl realizes that she does not like that client much due to chemistry/behavior/hygiene/age/color/ethnicity/chemistry/short/facially not find attractive/not fit enough etc. why not tell that client she will not be able to provide a good experience and so, cancelling is the best option and then offer a full refund? But, instead they will go through the session and will provide a bad service. Keep in mind though, this girl who did not like that client and gave poor service, that same client can probably receive a great experience from another girl though.
The real truth here is today's market is in favor of the Indys/Agency/Parlor since there are too many clients compared to available girls. So, giving poor service to some clients do not matter to them much.

You do realize that these girls are human beings with feelings and not sex robots, right? If the client has good hygiene and is respectful, he will have good service.
Yes, I definitely realize that and that's why I even provided a resolution in that case in my above comment - girl should cancel the session with the client in that case and offer full refund. Just having good hygiene and respectful do not guarantee good service though.

In an ideal world, yes, but I think in the real world the girl would be vulnerable to unpredictable/violent behaviour from the client being cancelled on the spot. Too risky. They meet all sorts of people. In my experience, good hygiene and behaviour goes a very long way in getting good service. And this is coming from a very average looking guy.
In most cases good hygiene, good manners and realistic expectations will lead to a fairly satisfying encounter with most of the providers, indies, agency girls and mps who are well reviewed here. Now nobody can seriously expect an exceptional experience with someone you never met before. Thats where personnality and social skills can make a difference. I've even experience, twice with the same girl, 2 hr meeting where the social part, i.e. chit-chatting over wine was super nice, but sexually I was left on my appetite big time. And that girl had super positive comments on her services, but with me she had zero initiative and seemed like she was just letting the time past as long as she could without any sex going on.
If that's they are really scared of then they should do better screening of clients and if still something happens, then they should definitely report that to law enforcements. Giving a bad service instead is not a solution IMO.

The experience you describe is disappointing, but I guess is the exception. Personally all my bookings are now 90 minutes minimum. The first 30 min are for getting to know each other, over a glass of wine if I am hosting. It sets the stage for the rest, and makes the whole experience flow much better.
It sure is the exception, most of my encounter are stellar time, I was just trying to point out that sometimes it doesnt go well even with the right attitude and proper hygiene, thats is the ymmv factor.
Perhaps I am just too easy going or easy to please but I have never had a bad experience with any SP ( they were all Indys that advertise on Merb).
Obviously there are differences and there is a reason I see mostly my ATF but that is not because I didn’t have a fabulous time with others it is just that she happens to be in a different category where I am concerned.
I would not hesitate to write a bad review where it was an obvious bait and switch or the girl really gave horrible service and was on her phone half the time, then again I wouldn’t wait it out I would walk after a couple of minutes of her being on her phone, losing a couple of hundred bucks to me is preferable than starting something that I know will not end well.
Writing a bad report or even mentioning that her face or looks were not to my liking, no that will never happen that is on me it is up to me to do my research well enough that it will not happen and if it does it is my fault not hers.
I have found that if you are polite, treat the lady with respect and kindness, you will have a great time, they know the value of a repeat client and will try to please you.
Although I have only seen indys I don’t see why a girl working for an agency would be different, yes she may have been tired that day and had an off day and seen maybe too many clients, for me that is why I prefer indys plus the personal contact, I don’t like dealing with middle men.

Recently, I notice there are very very few reviews, much less than usual. So I thought maybe SPs are doing less business. But whenever I call, I notice most are always fully booked.
And many of the new girls have no review threads at all, even though they're fully booked!
So I decided to try 2 TOFTT, and I had a below average experience. Now I am wondering if guys are not writing reviews because of bad service? Because now that I have tried 2, I don't want their first review to be a negative one in case they were just having a bad day, so I will not write it.

Good/bad reviews is important, it brings a standard to the industry. The ymmv thing is inevitable but we can always judge from the bad reviews. I respect the ymmv thing but you can tell sometimes that the sp is not for this or doesn’t care. I think it could be useful to share your experience.
You also need some judgement on your reading. There are some merbites that I take their reviews with a grain of salt and some more seriously.

SPs in agency usually have a much higher volume of clients. I don’t think they rely on as many regulars to provide long bookings. Being polite, having good hygiene, respect, and showing kindness should be standard behaviour, but trust me when I say it isn’t. Not all four at once. Nope. if you just check those boxes the only bad meetings you’ll probably have are with those burnt out or dislike the job. Otherwise maybe you don’t get one specific thing or two, but she will be nice and try to please. Youngsters are a bit different, since stuff like attraction or wtv can be bigger factors.
The real question is if lack of acrnonyms being expressed on a review should be considered bad. Of course to the client his expectations were betrayed, though how accurate those where we can’t know. I would say true bad reviews (merb advertisers) are quite rare, since those are more about attitude and effort than anything else. Like most can feel when someone isn’t digging anything and or is treating them like shit on purpose. Or maybe some dudes can’t.
