As we can see Oliver is in greath demand ,in the risk of being baned myself I sugest we raise the band on Oliver since he is being in such demand , I myself without always agreeing with Oliver must admit he does bring more info. in than any other member, and with all that we all have our atitutes,Oliver just has much more. Ok, ok, je sais Québec est une région périphérique, c'est loin, mas JnJ est toujours là pour aider, trouver l'information et il est très diplomate. Je trouve qu'il possède le véritable esprit du Net qui est celui de la coopération et de susciter la coopération.

C'est vraiment grâce à lui si les fils de discussion sur Québec sont si populaires.

Quant à Oliver, God bless him, c'est un gars qui aide tout le monde mais, désolé, je ne peux pas voter pour lui car c'est un anti-francophone. Il vient nous écoeurer sur les fils de Québec pour nous signifier que MERB est un forum anglais et nous imposer l'anglais: qu'il laisse donc les gens parler la langue qu'ils désirent. Pour moi, Merb, ce n,est pas ça, on n,est pas ici pour faire de la c*** de politique. En plus de ça, voir des photos de poutine, de hamburgers et de fonds de poubelle, ça ne m'excite pas du tout. Enfin, je trouve ça tragique de faire la promotion des filles de rue. Réveillez-vous. Toutes ces filles (99%) se piquent au Freebase ou fument de la résine ou je ne sais quoi, ont des centaines de marques, de plaies et de cicatrices de toutes sortes sur le corps, sont pleines de maladies et sont devenues de véritables loques humaines et ont plutôt besoin d'aide, d'amour et de support que de voir encore plus de mecs affamés déferler sur elles. En tout cas, je trouve ça triste. J'espère qu'il va nous revenir quand même bien comme il faut.

Je trouve très bien les explications d, ELvis pour ne pas justifier la nomination de Oliver au Hall of Fame. J'admet que le dossier des filles de rue c pas trop trippant et meme désolant. LauraB est un membre pas ma actif qui meriterais que som nom sois nominé.

Je redouble sur les représentations d'Elvis, surtout face à Oliver qui a une façon assez unilatérale de voir les choses.
De toute façon il y a un écart important entre l'activité de Québec vs Montréal et il devrait y avoir 1 MERBeur de l'année par Ville.
Même si ça n'arrivera certainement pas, JacknJill est incontestablement un personnage important de la commnauté.

Many thanks for the nomination, chef! I think your posts in the restaurant thread should qualify you for the food and wine merbite of the year, with a special mention to EB for his restaurant reviews.

Maybe we should take a page from Time magazine and declare everyone the Merbite of the year. Most everyone brings something special to the board, even the shills that some of us have so much fun picking out and on, and Tony whose multiple personalities keep the mods on their toes.
The board wouldn't be the same without any of it's regular contributors, love 'em or hate 'em, and that's what it's all about.

My vote goes to OLIVER.......... not because of the volume of his contributions, nor because of his perfect grammar and spelling.

He has my vote because once in a while I get a primal urge to walk the streets of Montreal in search of a hot little cutie that I can get down a dirty with for a few bucks. When this happens I turn to Oliver's street scene posts and read about his experiences.

Within minutes I am saying to myself, "Are you fucking stupid...........?"
