Can anyone tell me where the Montreal Metro system begins? If I am traveling from Plattsburgh (New York State) and cross the border just above there. Is there a park and subway ride place shortly thereafter? Where is the first stop coming accross from NY?

All the metro stations are located on the Island of Montreal except one on the South Shore in Longueuil. If you come by car from Plattsburgh, follow highway 15 then 132 to Jacques-Cartier bridge where you could find a parking lot for the metro.
However, from Plattsburgh, it would be more convenient and faster to take Champlain bridge and drive to downtown Montreal.
