I'm ready to bet my pension plan and my house with anyone that his dad will not be released from jail to attend the funerals.
They allow this, on humanitary reasons, when someone is emprisoned for a minor crime. Rizzuto is in an american jail, which is way more strict than the canadian prison system. It took years for the american justice to extradite Rizzuto from Canada to get his trial and prison sentence in the USA.

First it was the cockaroache bikers that they fumigated out of Montreal and now they are laying low. Now they go after the big rodents. When there not much for rodents to eat the big rats eat the small rats. Sometimes a small rat gets tired of the constant fear of being eaten, so he gets brave enought to try to eat a king rat.
When is the father supposed to be released definitely, I mean not for the funeral, which I saw on the news that he didn't request to be at his son's funeral.
