members... customers...bonnet blanc et blanc bonnet..of course maybe since for me members has a totally different connotation I probably change the wording inadvertently...I didn't want to use the quote function in vain in a thread that I was sure Mods will read...Just teasing I have the same irritation about long quote... wow! Who would think I have something in common with the Mods beside a platonic exchange of money?..loll
What an interesting subject during a romantic dinner!

Thanks for the posts of appreciation guys. Behind the scenes it is quite interesting being a Mod. You guys don't get to see how we all really go through long processes in discussing certain decisions and policies. We don't just act lightly.
There is an invisible section that you guys can't see, where the Mods all virtually get together and discuss many of the decisions we make. You may see one Mod post and respond to a situation or suspend a member, but it is really all of us who work together to come to that conclusion. Even if some of us post more than others, all of us are routinely involved behind the scenes adding our input. Some of us focus more on the review sections, some of us the lounge threads. We do get heated sometimes behind the scenes trying to voice our opinions and it can be challenging. In the end we make a pretty good team and are united in our goals. That is to put aside biases and do what's best for the community.
That what this board is all about. The members that contribute reviews and lounge topics. Without you guys there simply wouldn't be a board. So, we appreciate that you appreciate us and hope that you appreciate our appreciation in kind.

Yes, I was part of something like this on an alleged "committee" elsewhere. It worked okay...until the board owner exposed the farce by overriding the work. Isn't it nice to be here where Fred has given the mods the authority and freedom to do things right.

Yes it is a great forum - largely thanks to the efforts of quality Mods such as 11, 10 and 12.
Agreed Gugu, We all know his intention, he got banned by Mod8 a few times for breaking the rules and sour grapes continue. He made the thread to take a shot at M8, it is clear and obvious and is not the first time he has done so. Mod8 does a fantastic job as do ALL THE MODS. Case closed, nuff said and keep up the fair and balanced work guys and maybe girl/girls
The intention, gugu, is to give sorely-needed credit to hardworking underappreciated individuals. Please don't be negative. You might also try to learn the meaning of the word "cheap".

Seriously, i felt bad when i first realised M8 wasn't named in JC's post.. As M12 mentionned, we are all good friends even if we aren't agreed all the time and i wouldn't like being used just to make a cheapshot to Mod 8.
But i realised it after one member mentionned it, since i didn't know there was a little "story" between M8 and JC...So it could be a pure coincidence if M8 wasn't named, but i felt bad when i thought it could be wanted.

Honestly, do you and gugu have nothing better to do than to pollute a positive thread with your inane and paranoid conspiracy theories? I know you're a Romney (and Leafs) supporter but even that doesn't explain your little flight of fancy here. Gee, maybe I should apologize for creating a thread in honor of the Mods...or then again maybe you and the g-man should share some chill pills and get a grip on reality.
