Montreal Cultists Featured Nude in Playboy

Just got the October Playboy and was very surprised to see that the Montreal based Raelian cult has some of its followers featured nude in an interesting profile. Several of the Raelian ladies are quite attractive.

The Raelians are a cult led by Rael, formerly known as Claude Vorilhon, a French journalist and former race car driver, who has claimed he was visited by an alien named Yahweh about 31 years ago. Yahweh explained to Rael that extraterrestrials, not God, had created all life on earth through genetic engineering. The Raelians believe in cloning and in fact announced the cloning of the first human, a baby girl named Eve, in 2002.

I am curious as to how this Montreal-based cult has apparently amassed so much wealth and notoriety. Also, what deal has been struck with the Canadian government which permits them to continue with these cloning experiments which raise serious moral, ethical and religious issues? No cult would be permitted to conduct such activities in the USA.

That being said, there is one Raelian cultist in particular who is featured nude who caught my attention. Her name is Shizue Kaneko, a very attractive Asian woman. Does anyone recognize her?

I don’t think the cult is based in Canada, more like in France if I'm not mistaken. I recall the press conference about the cloning. Experts said they probably made it up for the publicity; Rael is a publicity whore. I believe this alleged cloning was done in an "undisclosed location" anyway.

They are definitely based in Montreal. Do some research on the Internet if you don't believe me. The technical headquarters is in Switzerland, but Rael and his babes live in Montreal. The Playboy article shows a Raelian march in Montreal against the Catholic Church. Make no mistake, this cult is thriving in your country.

The Raelians want to build an embassy in Jerusalem, but the Israeli government has refused to grant the request.

The cult of Rael was founded in France. But since a couple of year, he moves the headquarter in Quebec probably because of income tax reason. He benefits of some income tax deduction here as a religious group that he didn't benefit in France. And the group has a solid base of believer here.
Now, they are presents in Korea, Japan, other european country and i guess USA.
They built UFOland a couple of years ago. It is a kind of place where they are promoting their religions. It is a big building in the middle of nowhere between a cow and corn field. They plan also to build a big place to receive the Elohim, the "creators" of the human race.
About the cloning experiment, they are not made in Canada. One of their experiment is suppose to be in Asia, South Korea if i'm not wrong. But IMHO, they don't do any cloning. They're only pretending to do so to get the attention of the media. They're good in that kind of bullshiting. See all the attention they got last year about that. And we still waiting for proof about the cloning baby...

Now EB, can you tell me is there any picture of that asian girl on the net? I'm interesting to see that beauty.

Hi Guys,

UFOLand is located near highway 20 between Montreal and Drummondville around exit 150. It is totally different from the UFO golf center in Laval. This is where the Raelians have their head-quarters. Very popular destination during the Eve/cloning hoax.

There was a series of articles in the Journal de Montreal sometime last spring on the Raeliens. They were "infiltrated" by a few journalists and they spend a few months in there trying to gain their trust.

Sex is pervasive. Everyone must have sex with the leader.

The cloning was a hoax. They do not have the technology to do so. It did buy them some nice free publicity. Heck, everyone here and abroad are talking about it - it worked for them.

They are based in Quebec in a little place called Valcourt.

I don't know what they did to be able to operate here. But then again, cults are operating everywhere and not too many people are either aware, or, do anything about them - until they organize a mass suicide - where - nobody has to care about the cult at point ... It doesn't exist anymore.

A number of years ago, while at the Montreal courthouse, I found myself standing near Rael and some of his associates. They stood out somewhat, because Rael was dressed in an all-white quasi-uniform. I believe they were involved in a defamation action they had initiated when Raelians were less well-known around here. Anyways, they spotted a women sitting nearby and were joking around much like you might expect from guys hanging out in a bar. I then see Rael approach and sit down next to this woman to introduce himself, and attempt to engage her in conversation. His friends continued to find much amusement from all this, so I gathered that they had dared him to try to hustle the woman for his cult. I didn't stick around to find out how far he got, but ever since then, I could never treat them very seriously whenever they or their activities come up in the news.

An interesting story. If you get the October issue of Playboy, you will see photographic evidence that Rael's "hustling" of women for his cult has been very successful. Reportedly all of these women have sex with Rael, and if I were him I would too.

I am still trying to figure where the Raelians get their money from. Just being a publicity hound does not make you rich, although I have no doubt that Playboy paid the Raelians six figures for the story and photographs.

Thanks for this info. I started this thread to learn more about the Raelians, not to bash them. A number of posters have posted information about the Raelians, and they are free to express their opinions one way or the other. That is all I asked.

There is nothing untoward about this thread that MERB management should worry about. In the USA and Canada people are free to speak their minds. I doubt very much that MERB would indulge any threats from lawyers for the Raelians. For MERB to do so would be a tacit admission that it does not acknowledge the right to free speech.

As far as I can see nobody has posted anything other than opinions and reports which are already out in the media, so there is nothing inappropriate about this thread, anyway.

Furthermore, any of the Raelians, including Rael himself, are free to post in this thread to the extent that they believe anything needs to be corrected.

I only mentioned this because since you are MERB party security chief, I thought it might be good for you to get some experience breaching the security of another organization by infiltrating it. Also, two of the Raelians featured in the Playboy pictorial are caucasians, and I am sure there are many others.

I thought that it was generally accepted knowledge that you are and were the "de facto" MERB party security chief. I recall Oliver Kloseoff writing about it and specifically him saying that you had an eagle eye for who was a MERBITE and who might be LE. Others have written about it as well. Raelians believe in abortions and orgies. To finance themselves you would have o contribute. Sure they use good looking people and do recruit heavily. They do expect a good image yet the truth behind it is all sex and money for Rael. Sure Playboy has added attention to a cause that is slowly dying. Yet why wouldn’t you join just for sex? It’s worth it but the pressure to contribute is enormous.
I don’t think that StripperLover can infiltrate he sticks out (because the way his eyes follows the moving target) among young attractive female followers a mile away!

I just went back and looked at the Playboy Magazine more closely, and in the playbill it says that the photo shoot was done at "the eccentric group's headquarters outside Montreal."

I also noticed that all of the Raelians wear a medallion containing a 6 point star that is similar to the Jewish Star of David but is slightly different in that there are interlocking patterns not present in the Star of David.

There is also a picture of the cloning machine that was supposedly used to clone baby Eve, the first cloned human. I assume that this photo was taken at headquarters "near Montreal" as that is where the playbill indicates all of the photos were taken.

What if it is true that cloning experiments are occurring there? Is it okay with all of you for the Canadian governments to simply give the Raelians a pass so long as they pay whatever it is that they owe the Canadian governments by way of taxes?
