Hey there!
Does anybody know about a cheap way to fly to Toronto.
Im looking for a flight on the 11th of August...one way.
Everything seems to be rather pricey.
I'm not really good a finding that kind of stuff online.
Thanks guys!

Flew Porter a couple of time, all I can say was a pain in the ass for me. You have to wait for the ferry to cross the lake and then take a taxi or a charter bus that take you downtown. You can't rent a car right at the airport. Anyway, it does work for other people, but not for me. However, they have a great lounge available to everybody when flying out of Toronto.

I like Westjet the most out of all the carriers that service that route. Just checked, they have rated for that date $ 119.00. Now, when adding all the taxes you might be somewhere over the $ 200. Then again, when flying, you have no stress at all.

hi sylvia

for toronto i suggest you west jet .
from montreal you have flight every hour in the morning until 11am
but for coming back from toronto book in advanced your flight.

i have in the past a bad experience to coming back from toronto no flight was available during this day with this compagny.

the cost of my flight with air canada was expensif for a last minutes.

i wish that can help you ;)

Montreal - Toronto

I've never taken it. I assume it lands at Trudeau?

Yes, from Trudeau to the very old Toronto Island airport. Air Canada use to run this airport way back during the old days. One more thing very important, watch out for the weather conditions before using this airline. Porter uses the Q400 from Bombardier, you know the two props. As soon as you cannot see the CN Tower from the airport during winter time, your flyght will be grounded ! ! I had many surprises and frustrations last winter.

Train and a book is a nice option too but train get you much closer Toronto Downtown than the airport.

If you have someone in your circle of family/friends with excess aeroplan miles, you can get to Toronto round-trip for about $85. (only paying the taxes)

I'd also recommand WestJet. I travel regularly Toronto-Montreal with them.
Less hassle than other cheaper alternative.
For the 11th with them your looking at 178.52$ approximately!
If your flexible with your days, on the 10th you can fly for 110.15$. Same thing on the way back...if you do come back :)

If only I knew...
Judy's WRONG!! LOL!!

TANGO is the lowest tarif at Air Canada. No flexibility, no frills, no food. Not admissible to any upgrade of any types.

Air Canada's only offspring is JAZZ, covering the short-haul market with smaller planes, including DASH-8 turboprops. JAZZ is independant from Air Canada for everything beside ownership, few facilities and reservation system.
