If Americans were refused to entre in Canada, there must be a valid and sensible reason. But a lot of Canadians gets refused without any valid reason or explaination.

According to the Lapresse article 23052 Americans refused entry in 2015.By 2016 it increased 31% to 30223 refusals.But at the same time the number of refusals into canada went down in 2016.Americans are being checked more vigorously.

Ssj according to news paper article they are suspecting the U.S.Gouvernement is giving more information to Canadian border agency.Even 40 year old petty crimes you did or DUI conviction that are decades old.Some of the people refused entry have come into Canada several times before and now are being refused.Big brother is watching.

Lawyer trying to drum up more work or newspaper trying to find something "sensational" to print.

CBSA is stating wait 5 years to apply for permission to enter or wait 10 year and no need to apply to enter. This is assuming applicant has been completely law abiding for the time period above.
