My Android is not compatible with Wickr-Top Secret Messenger. What are my Options?

Since I've noticed a few agencies requesting we download Wickr-Top Secret Messenger to comply with (KISS My ASS) Steve Harper new C-36 bill.
My Android does not support it.
Any other options?
The old methods of calling are being monitored now?
So WTF a lonely single guy is to do now to avoid being made an example of this new ridicules law?
If I get arrested for this my career & personal responsibilities will be damaged.

It seems to be a cool app, only bad thing is that the receiver needs also to have a Wickr account. I have installed it on my Android.

There are other secure messaging app: 5 best secure messaging apps. So agencies should accomodate their clients and allow them to contact them via any of the popular apps, I think.

Well i doubt agencies will go ONLY with that... i mean... that would be career suicide, as lots of people use very basic cellphones and/or home phone. As for the rest, i doubt it will be monitored and you can risk being arrested just by calling or text messenging

And anyway if the governement want in, they will manage to get in, no matter what you use.

And am I understating things when it appears to be almost a chat app that deletes its history after a single day? (Note that I have never used it)

Deleting older messages is just a bonus and not the main feature of this app. The main feature is that all your messages will be encrypted and sent to Wickr servers (using a key you share with these servers), decrypted there and encrypted with the receiver's key before being forwarded. The advantage is that nobody will be able to see what you are sending. Very probably, they will not even be able to see the number of the phone to who you are sending the texto.

wich agencys are requesting this? i think it is stupd since wickr is only for latest androids and iphone. they would cut themselfs from peopel who don't use latest androids or iphones like peopel who use blackberrys, windows phones, and dumbphones.

at the same tone, using something like bbm is compatibel with iphones, latesst androids, and blackberrts, and windows phones. it also ofers read and delivery recepts which most chat programs dont.

texing works best but leaves trail but if you get prepayd phones, it is minimised if you only use cash for purchase and cash for topings ups.

So what guaranty do we have that Wickr won't give your messages to the authorities given the proper legal orders?
From my limited knowledge, the best privacy would be achieved when using a shared key à la PGP/GPG, but is that convenient in the context of impulse messaging to an escort service?
