Hi everybody,

I'm thinking about starting a "drinks" thread.

I'm an avid drinker of Vodka + OJ (good ole screwdriver). Enjoying one right now.

If you have any other "recipes" with Vodka, please chip in.

Also let us know about your favorite alcoholic drinks and the ingredients needed to enjoy them.

"Sex On The Beach"

Sex On The Beach

1 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. each: Chambord & Peach Schnapps
Splashes of Pineapple, Orange and Cranberry juices
Shake with ice & serve in a Collins or decorative glass

A lot of bars will try and cheat and not include the Chambord. The Chambord is key and if it is not in there, it is not a full Sex On The Beach, it`s only like a .

Shot of Grape flavor Vodka (Three Olives brand)
Can of Grape Soda (Tropicana Twister works nicely)

Tommy G special Recipe

1 ounce Vodka

2 ounces pink grapefruit

2 ounces cranberry juice

lots of ice

garnish with hot chick with big titties!

When it comes to Vodka I also like Stoli or Moskovskia. None of the latest trendy overpriced ones such as Grey Goose. Straight up from the freezer or in an old favorite, a Harvey Wallbanger,
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Galliano
4 oz Orange juice
Mixing instructions: Pour vodka and orange juice into a collins glass over ice cubes and stir. Float Galliano on top and serve.

I also enjoy tequila, Jose Cuervo Gold, or a good imported Mezcal. Black Sambuca flaming shots can be good also. Years ago we used to drink something called Swamp Water which was made with green Chartreuse. Bars used to serve it in a Mason jar with an alligator on it. Any one else remember it? By the way...does anyone have the recipe for a shooter called a Snake Bite? I think I used to drink way too much...I pretty much stick with beer now.

Honest Abe...I don't thing we can get Bacardi 151 here in Canada. Unfortunately.

Jack, ice, & a splash of Coke... Leave the bottle.

A good shot is Southern Comfort & Lime.

Tequila Bangers are great too... Thick bottomed glass, nice helping of tequila, little Sprite (7Up & Ginger Ale work too), put a napkin over the glass, bang it on the table, and slam that some bitch back... See the opening of the John Woo flick Hard Boild for demonstration.

We used to call them Poppers but when drinking them in a strip club I usually pop them off my leg instead of the table as it makes a hell of a lot less noise.

Dr. Pepper shots:

Take one shot glass of Ameretto and drop it in a half glass of beer - drink it in one shot and it tastes just like Dr.Pepper!

Any wine drinkers out there ? I would not drink wine in a strip club, of couse, where they usually have Cuvee de St. Laurent, or the equivalent.

BTW a dancer for whom I bought a drink asked for a "Rav" - what the heck is it?

The only true way to enjoy Gin

In a shaker full of ice:
3 oz of Gin
1/2 oz of Dry Vermouth
1/2 oz of olive brine

Strain into a cocktail glass
Garnish with olives

A couple of different Google's came up with nothing on Rav, but it did come up with a energy drink called Red Rave...
