The New York attorney general's investigation into sexual harassment allegations against Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo found that Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, Attorney General Letitia James announced Tuesday.

I started a thread about this several months ago. It started out with updates on the governors misdoings but like all the political threads here on MERB it ended up being about, you guessed it, Trump. Take a look at the post before this one if you need an example. It was after several ridiculous posts in favor of Cuomo’s actions and the constant mention of our former president that I thought it would be best to just remove the thread.

On a side note, August 9 couldn’t come sooner. I may not be the first American to cross the border, but I will be focusing on what this board has been really useful for, info on banging hot Quebecois girls! I’m gonna do my best to let the keyboard warriors that feed off of CNN’s misinformation have there say without interruption. I only started engaging in the politics on this board because of the border being closed so it makes sense to ignore all the bullshit for a while.

Patron, the arguments are understandable, using Cuomo as the example is not. He’s a piece of shit and deserves far worse than what’s coming to him.

As far as ignoring politics, I plan on trying to only ignore politics on MERB. Before COVID I had many other reasons to come here. And now that travel restrictions look as though they are easing up, so will my participation in the political threads.

I for one despise all politicians as I think they are all dishonest scumbags.
I don’t have much interest in politics as it really doesn’t make all that difference in my life style who is in power.
I will still be surrounded by family, financially it doesn’t affect me at all whether an ego maniac is in power or a forgetful old fool. Actually it is quite sad that this is the best the US can come up with, but we are not much better off with a leader that was a lousy high school teacher.
Only reason I got involved is I like to look at both sides of a coin and here it is so one sided and left leaning that it is a total joke. It seems the local hate Trump addiction will live on for ever on Merb lol. Actually I find it kind of comical and sad at the same time.

Resign or be removed? Neither. He should not resign as he will just be admitting he is guilty and from what I read, there is no evidence of that. We only have evidence of 11 women which may have mental issues. I'm sure Cuomo had the same interactions with hundreds of women during his political lifetime, so 11 women took offence to a pat on the back or a kiss on the cheek? At one time sexual harassments was rape or forced sex on a woman. Today sexual harassment is saying " oh, That blouse looks good on you" . So all you out there saying Cuomo should be removed , put on trial and put in jail, remember one thing and I guarantee this with 100% certainty. You are all guilty of sexual harassment in someone's eyes. The only difference is your not the Governor of New York, or the premiere of Ontario. Why don't you all go ask these feminist rights groups if paying for sex is considered sexual harassment? You know the answer.

So until things are proven in a court of law, and we define what entails sexual harassment, we can't come to any conclusions. Not sure what the facts are, but this clearly not the case of Weinstein where he sexually forced him self on women to have sex with them and exposing himself.

I don't think Randy Andy will resign. He can just deny the accusations til some hard provable evidence comes along to state otherwise. In the meantime it's not like the Leftist media is calling for his blood. His brother Fredo is on CNN for Chrissakes. It does not seem like the public wants his head on a stake, either. Er he's not riding this out. You should actually watch CNN to see how they're covering it. CNN has given this a lot of airtime and it hasn't been good airtime. In addition to all the reasons for covering it because it's news, CNN also has incentive to cover it because failure to do so invites exactly the accusation you made: that being a Democrat and/or having your brother work on the same network = treatment with kid gloves.

You should know that Cuomo isn't beloved enough for anyone to stick their neck out for him, putting aside the fact that he looks guilty as hell and all. You can see all the jackass and wanna mafioso in him when he thinks the solution is going on offense and making excuses instead of just STFU or apologizing. But the only way he faces accountability is if he's impeached. This guy isn't leaving on his own.

I thought his daily COVID updates were very informative and helped keep me from losing it during the lockdowns. My opinion went from liking him to being disgusted with him for all of the seniors that he killed on his watch. It then went to further disgust when he tried to cover it up and blame the president. And I lost all respect for him when the sexual allegations came out. Before COVID he was a well liked and a respected governor. Not any more.
