Oh no! I can't stand Michaels and Collinsworth. I prefer Nantz and Romo on CBS!...Aikman and Buck are still behind Al Michaels and Collinsworth, but they're very good.
My very long week is causing a brain fart. How in the hell did I forget Romo and Nantz? Those two are easily tied (if not slightly better than) with Michaels and Collinsworth.Oh no! I can't stand Michaels and Collinsworth. I prefer Nantz and Romo on CBS!
But my #1 broadcast duo is definitely Buck and Aikman!
Absolutely, Madden was the greatest of all time! Him and Pat Summerall on CBS for the late Sunday afternoon game was a must for NFL Football fans!...For me the best one of that bunch of the late John Madden. Boom!![]()
Romo does have football savant qualities/tendencies, and I can understand where you are coming from because he often sounds like a giddy football nerd, especially with his catchphrase, just before the ball is snapped on a big play- "here we go!!!!!!!! However I think his enthusiasm and energy for watching football is genuine. He may need to tone it down a tad, but I think CBS producers encourage the opposite- for him to be overtly theatrical. Madden had some of the same qualities as Romo, yelling out his own catchphrases like "boom!" after a big hit. His style was a bit more folksy and he endeared Americans by talking about food, widely popularizing turducken on Thanksgiving. If it were not for Madden millions of Americans wouldn't know what the fuck turducken is, and turducken sales would not have skyrocketed as they since have around Thanksgiving.I liked Romo in his first season but last season i had enough! While it is true that he has a knack of predicting a play coming up his overabundance of energy during the playcalling just simply gets on my nerves after a while. Mad Dog Russo also can't stand him so i'm not alone! lol

it’s been one of the most busy & interesting offseasons in a long time , the AFC stacking up looks like an arms race ... Von Miller’s been money everywhere his played , but I agree that’s insane money for a 33 year old , makes you wonder about the knuckle heads making all these big decisions , though I’m still very happy that they got him as a Buffalo fan ...also very excited for Cleveland finally getting their star QBYep huge free agent signings and big trades with tons of money being thrown around in this crazy week in the NFL
1) Von Miller signs with the Bills for 6 years/$120 million... unreal for a 33 year-old defensive player past his prime!
2) Russell Wilson traded to the Broncos
3) Khalil Mack traded to the Chargers
4) Davante Adams traded to the Raiders
5) Chandler Jones signs with the Raiders for 3 years/$52 million
6) Carson Wentz traded to the Commanders...
...and more to come!
It is a ton of money but Miller was playing at a high level last year. The Bills see him as a leader, a 2 time Super Bowl champion and a guy who puts their defense over the top.......it’s been one of the most busy & interesting offseasons in a long time , the AFC stacking up looks like an arms race ...
