Right on AOD.

Panthers did what they had to do and did it effectively. Ground and pound, ball control type game plan which led to 3 rushing touchdowns and helped keep the Pats offense off the field. The Patriots showed some of those cracks on the defense that I was talking about. That being said lets not get ahead of ourselves and let our desire of seeing a new super bowl champ make us forget that one game, a season does not make! Undisciplined play on the part of the Patriots also hurt them which is NOT their hallmark! I don't expect to see as many mistakes out of them in the future as Belichick will simply remove the offending parties from the field. Felt good to see cracks in the armor though.

Cowboys will wallop the Redskins Monday night. Mark it down, its a lock.
The Boys have absolutely owned the Skins for the past 6 years, I see no reason in Washington to think this game will be anything other than a cakewalk. Now that I've said that however the Boys' will probably lose  on a last second field goal, LOL! Seriously though, I can't think of a better bet this week.

LOL indeed. On me. If you saw the game you would understand why I am not that upset. It was one of the most freakish things I've ever seen in the NFL. Total domination, other than points, by the Cowboys for 56 minutes. Then in the last 4 minutes lightning strikes the exact same spot twice. Un-fuckin-believable. A perfect example of why gambling is bad for you.

Not if you are a winner every time. ;) :) I think the Cowboys will most likely go to playoffs this year. Bledsoe will do well just like what he did the first year in Buffalo. Besides, Parcells has good players this time around and will make the most out of them.

Game of the week.

Pats at the Steelers. Anybody know the line? If the Steelers take this it gives them the advantage for homefield if it comes down to a tie break between themselves and the Pats, and a hell of a lot of momentum. If the Pats lose their morale will be hit hard. Could all the player/coaching losses be about to take their toll? Will this be the beginning of the end of the Pats' run of good fortune? Tune in on Sunday to find out! I'm ready for some football!

Steelers are favored by 3 points. They are on a roll and it is their home game. So it does look like they have the edge. However, I always marvel Bill Belichick's coaching talent. History tells the Pats always rebound after defeats. Look for Belichick to whip up some football magic. It is indeed the game of the week! Enjoy!!! :)

Pats vs Steelers

Obviously by my handle I'm a Pats Fan...but I think that the Steelers will win this one by 6 or better. The Pats are hurting at DB and I think that could be the key to the game. As far as the season goes if the Pats can get by the first 6 games at either 3-3 or 4-2 then I think they will be in good shape for the playoffs. But I really think a Threepeat is out of the question.

Steelers Rule!

I have always rooted for the Steelers and the Giants.

The Steelers are looking real good! Their top 2 running backs, Bettis and Staley, get hurt, and an unheralded RB from North Carolina, Willie Parker, goes well over 100 yards in each of his first two games subbing for them! Roethlisberger has picked up where he left off last year, and the defense is hell! Cowher Power may take this team to the Super Bowl.

And although the Eagles are the clear favorite in the NFC, how bout them Giants? All of a sudden their special teams, a real problem in recent years, are dynamite. Manning looks good. This team will score points and the defense is much improved. They are playoff bound but probably the Eagles go to the Super Bowl.

Look for the Battle of Pennsylvania come Super Bowl time: Pittsburgh v. Philadelphia. This will be the biggest fight coming out of Pennsylvania since Gettysburgh, 1863.

I will be cheering on the Steelers so my Dolphins can take the division title from the Pats. (ya right)

I have always liked the Steelers going back to the Terry Bradshaw/Steel Curtain days. I think those Steeler teams during that era were some of the best of all time in NFL history.

But I would be surprised to see the Pats lose two in a row if I was a betting man.

The Battle of Penn. with P v. P would be a pretty cool Superbowl.
