Funny thing HABS winning the Clarence Cambell, crowning the Western Conference champion, trophy namef after a man who was crucified for suspending Maurice Richard for the playoffs in 55…
It was brought to my attention that Campbell died on aJune 24th
Now this is pretty odd and makes for a story around these special Playoffs realignments

It was brought to my attention that Campbell died on aJune 24th
Now this is pretty odd and makes for a story around these special Playoffs realignments

We lost a Stanley Cup because of Campbell!...At the time the NHL head office was in Montreal at the Sun Life building and Campbell attended the games at the Forum on Saturday in his regular seat!...When Campbell suspended Richard for the rest of the season and the playoffs for hitting a referee it was "the straw that broke the camel's back" and the fans went bezerk...and rightfully so!...A homemade bomb went off near where Campbell was seated and on St-Patrick's Day the first hockey riot on Ste-Catherine street was born (aka: the Richard Riot / L'émeute Richard)!...So hockey riots/celebrations on Ste-Catherine street are nothing new!

Je ne crois vraiment pas que le LIGHTNING va jouer mollo tonight pour remporter la COUPE at home.....c'est mal connaître la bête qui ne va jamais rien concéder à l'adversaire.....veut l'abattre coute que coute asap....dans le sport professionnel on ne prend aucun risque

Buttman will present the cup to the Lightning when all 3,500 spectators will have split from the Bell Centre!
