I am anxious to see how TB responds to the severe beat down they received in Game 1, and that response will be seen tonight. Has the bear been poked awake, or will he continue to sleep as if in hibernation?
This time they were ready.....DOMINGUE #3 will have long long evening ;) ...big/impressive win 6-0 for the OILERS.

With DOMINGUE in the net...NYR should have it easy.....plus with magician SHESTERKIN....no problem :) ....yep MAKAR ...what a player...it looks very good for the AVS.......not that easy for the FLAMES....they will need much better effort from their top players...
should do it.

Shesterkin faced 41 shots last night and 83 shots the game before. That is 124 shots faced in 2 games. Even allowing for 3OT game, Shesterkin faced 25 shots in the second period, which was a Penguins club record shots for one period. It's way too many.. The Rangers are getting a break with Domingue in goal. But allowing Shesterkin to keep facing 40 plus shots per game is not a sustainable business model.

DeSmith Has Surgery; Penguins Hopes Rest with Domingue:
It's tough to be down to your 3rd string goalie, but it is what it is. The Rangers are not feeling sorry for them.

Carolina is also playing with its 3rd string goalie, 22 year old Pyotr Kochetkov, who has 3 games of NHL experience. If you are a fan of Carolina, it's not what you want! Carolina 2-0 lead looking shaky.

Bolts are being handcuffed by Leafs execution and speed. They need to be way more disciplined and learn to stay away from the penalty box. You cant build up momentum when you spend too much time on the p.k. Their big 3 D men looked a bit shaky tonite, let see how they will react sunday. I find it unfortunate these 2 teams had to meet in the 1st round, it would have been a tremendous conference final.

.KANE with an hat trick.
What is notable is that although Kane is skating on the first line with McDavid, McDavid did not assist on nor was involved with any of Kane's goals. Kane is a beast! A little bit of a nutcase off the ice but as we have seen in the history of hockey, guys who are nutcases off the ice can be winners on the ice. There is no greater example of this than Derek Sanderson, who assisted on the legendary flying Bobby Orr goal in the 1970 Stanley Cup Finals. Sanderson was a total nutcase off the ice and had his brilliant career shortened by drug abuse as told in his autobiography "Crossing The Line" (great book!). But on the ice he was known for his legendary "sweep check" and plays like this one, an amazing pass on the money to Bobby Orr for the Stanley Cup winner:
