It's now sounding more and more like the reason Patrick Roy was fired is that Darche wanted Peter DeBoer as his coach before anyone else could hire him, and Roy (who was never his guy to begin with) was simply blocking him from doing that. I think the "source" that is telling ESPN that Roy's defense "lacked organizational structure" and "exposed Ilya Sorokin" is a Darche boot-licker in his office, who is spewing kaka in order to justify the exit of Roy as appropriate and deserved.
