A) Many of the young ladies read this thread. I know that one of my current favorites watches it like a hawk.
B) Many of the young ladies who work in this bidness are prone to the effects of the scourge of jealousy.

I think the poll is a great idea, gives all merbites a chance to see who is is popular, and usually that popularity is for a good reason - like quality service. I agree with your amendment to only include members prior to the start of the poll to avoid possible ballot box stuffing, but I don't understand why the final results will not be made public.

What is the use of the poll??

You are updating the results daily, but we won't see a final tally?

You better explain this last part to to me, as I'm from Barcelona.

Methinks you didn't quite understand Expanding Man and Expanding man doesn't understand the private poll, so...

Expanding Man: the results of the poll will be public. The voting will be private, meaning no one but you will know who you voted for.

Escorting by nature involves several men meeting several ladies who meet several men. Any notion of jealousy here is laughable.

We already made our nominations public. Hopefully the "nominated not chosen" ladies will be mature enough to realize we can only have one vote in the final poll .

EXPLANATION: I inquired to the mods about the possibility of fraud with two nominating members who both registered on the same day within minutes of each other. This was the only time I asked about this sort of thing in this thread. I am told they were the same person...both handles are now banned. Thus the rule to keep integrity.

As Bill Clinton is one of my heroes, I have a semantic question. Is the best of this poll meant to be the SP who best fulfils the GFE definition? In making my picks, I chose the most attractive among the true GFEs.

I don't enjoy a session with a beautiful iceberg nor do I like an unattractive woman to shove her tongue down my throat with enthusiasm. I chose those, who, if I was forced to choose after a short encounter, I would most like to have as my GF.

The whole purpose of merb is the sharing of information. We who make use of the information posted on merb also have a responsibility to share in return. If nobody posted reviews and nobody voted in polls, this would be a board of leeches and would dry up and fade away.
